      Hi Cfan,

My gal’s got her timetable last week. Today is the parent-teachers meeting for P1. My gal has the same form teacher for 2 years. My son in P1 still has not gotten timetable, and I received a note in his diary that timetable will be given when it is finalized. I feel that things are less organized in P1 this year compared to 2 yrs ago.

        Hi Cap

I think that they seem very "messy" at every start of the year so far for DD1 and DD2.

DD1 - P2 change Form Teacher, change location of classroom twice
        DD2 - P2 change Form Teacher

My colleague who has a kid in P2 this year from another school, before school starts, received a email from the Form Teacher stating some instructions and stuff.

For both my DDs, I don’t even know who the Form Teacher is until one week after school starts. (Due to DDs cannot remember the teacher’s name)

        Sigh…

The major hurdle this year is whether DD1 can adapt to another subject and also how she will perform as she is no longer under the "no exam years"

        Let’s work hard together!!!
        Cheers
        Peace to all

          Cfan,

I feel it has to do with the teachers. My elder gal’s P1 form teacher is very organized. Everything including spelling list was given during the first 2 weeks. She was lucky to hv the same form teacher for 2 years. Mrs Khai is a very commited and strict teacher. If only my son is in P1-3 this year, she would be his form teacher. I hope his form teacher would be strict. I find this year is so different.

Just reread the introduction letter for P1 teachers that was given last week, it mentioned that timetable will be given on week 3, as the teachers need to allow the timetable to run for a while to ensure there are no clashes.

There is a list of all P1 form teachers given to parents, not sure if it is the same for P2.

Today DD2 told me no timetable yet.

There was a letter from the school on the Form Teachers’ for P2. But the teacher stated is not the teacher that is in my DD2 class??

DD1 confirmed has the timetable already. Also I know for sure her FT is really strict and fierce. First day of school the whole class got scolding…

Ha Ha Ha I told her if you never done anything wrong why would you need to be frightened of the FT scolding you, she told me "but I never do anything wrong…" (It seems the whole class got a "taste" of the FT "fire")

Tomorrow’s meeting might shed a better light on this year. Also looking forward to P3 meeting next week. See how it goes…

              Peace
              Cheers to all

Now I know why it is "messy" for my DD2 (P2 this year)

                1) FT was on course
                2) Co-FT was young and inexperienced (From the meeting yesterday)

FT will only come back end of the week so hopefully all order will be restored.

                Cheers
                Peace to all
