Belated Happy New Year to all Kiasu Parents of FVPS!


I realised that I've not been posting for few months.... really needed a long (and well-deserved) break in December 2014 after working so hard together with the kids.

My elder DD is in P4 and younger DD P2 this year... more work ahead.

Thread not really dead, just not active lah. What do u think of the p4 social studies? I find it quite ridiculous, it is like studying secondary school history subject. I don’t understand what is in the mind of the person who created the social studies book. I find it way too much for a 10 yr old kid, I even find it difficult myself.

Hi all, can parents share some insights and feedback of the school? Not so much so on academic, rather, whether the school has any interesting programs, like in the Arts, CCA, learning journeys? and the school environment and facilities?


Have browse the school website, while i have some information. Would like to hear your views, especially if your child has settle in well?

My gal is in P5 this year. This year, there is so much homework compared to last year. I worry for her health as there is homework almost everyday. How is your child coping in p5?

Actually my DD seems to be unaffected by the additional workload...she still have time & energy to play and TVs.

Chinese spellings seems ridiculously heavy though.
