      Hi Capricon

Yup, collected the nametags from the uniform vendor (gotta trouble my mum to do the collection)...kinda strange to me that they did not indicate in the beginning that we have to do the collection from the vendor... I was waiting for them to appear in my mailbox for the whole of December 2011.

Spelling list?....hmmm, I saw no spelling list yet. DD only brought home a 2-sheet Maths worksheet that she has completed in class and another instruction note by her Chinese teacher, Ms Liu....will check tonight. 😉

My gal is in 1-7. 😉

        P1 4th day update!

Put on school uniform instead of PE attire, DD looked so sweet…
Dropped her off @ gate and she made her way to the assembly area on her own.
        Bag still bloody heavy.

My DD is in 1-7, but during Chinese lesson, she is officially in 1-5.
              Still no spelling list yet.
DD bought back a form from her Chinese teacher to fill in her name, hobbies, best friend and stuff.

DD just told me that her form teacher said her class will be getting their time-table on 11-Jan. Wednesday.

                  Hi all,

My gal brought back Chinese spelling list in hanyu pin yin. Both English and Chinese spelling are conducted on next Tuesday. I am very glad she enjoys going to school. One thing I don’t like abt our education system is that kids learn Chinese in Han yu pin yin, which I find confusing for the kids. Can anyone enlighten me why there is a need to learn Han yu pin yin?

Yesterday she brought back Maths worksheet n the know yr school worksheet for me to sign.

No sight of English nor Chinese spelling list for 1-7/ 1-5.

DD brought back her 2nd piece of official homework today...HanyuPinyin worksheet.
Kindof worried abt DD's Chinese level now, even though she has attended 2 months of Chinese prep class. The way she pronounce the Chinese characters like ang moh trying to speak Chinese like dat.

Drawing board that she brought to school today has been kept in the school (how abt my recycled bag ley????)

DD said that \"teacher said everyday has to bring the Chinese textbook and activity book\".

DD has her little white board in her bag everyday... necessary meh?
