What is their official school hrs for the morning session?
7:30am to 1:00pm? -

Ya loh, school didn't mention this year regarding about the timing for next year primary 1 & 3 right?What is their official school hrs for the morning session?
7:30am to 1:00pm?
Anyone can confirm? Parents of primary 3 or 4 students can inform us regarding this.
To reach school at 7.10am for silent reading till 7.25am, flag-raising starts at 7.25am. Must reach school by latest 7.25am. (7.25 -1.00pm) Mon , Tues, Thurs and Fri.
Wed - Morning same as above written but going home should be 12.35pm?
Afternoon sessions I Can confirmed :
Primary 1 & 2 is
12.45pm - 6.25 Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri (Latest by 12.30pm )
1.00pm - 6.25pm Wed only (Lastest by 1.15pm must reach school )

Last year, primary 1 was wednesday go early and come back early by half an hour, 12.30pm - 6.00pm
My girl this year changed and her time-table listed in primary 2 , was starting lessons time is 1.00pm.(others days except wed) For Wednesday is 1.30pm assembly, and written at 2pm lessons class.

Take a look at Discipline Matters slides in NCPS homepage under P1 Orientation, even if ur kids r not in P1. There r a few changes in 2012, eg:
1) Slide 20 - Closure of Gate C for 2012 & creation of Gate D.
2) Slide 21 - Slight change in reporting time to hall for silent reading (PM session).
3) Slide 23 - Cars allow to drive into sch to pick up kids during rainy dismissal (but how to last minute arrange w kids if the usual dismissal gates is not Gate A or B? With the shift of Gate C to Gate D that is so near to a tight, turning corner, the already chaos at the back is just going to b worse! ) -

Yeah true and I don't even think is possible for cars to go in to the school. Look at the large numbers of school bus waiting at the car park.
Umbrella is a better option than driving in. -

just to confirm, mon, wed and fri are days for english slient reading and tue and thur are for chinese slient reading? i tot that was what i heard during orientation but my boy tells me otherwise.
also, if school ends at 6.25pm, that is including flag lowering ceremony? bus service tells me will reach home around 6.45-7pm. we are staying opp compass pt and chose school bus to save the troubles of fetching and weather.
also just went to bata and metro to look for school shoes. hiaz no size. i called the office and was told as long as black can but prefer lace shoes. another mother tell me try not to get canvas type. now i want to buy also no size… thinking of kiddy palace, hope can get else will have to get from bata velcro type…
