1. doesn't go through assignments with his students,
2. if he does, will be 2 weeks after students did them, but hardly collect them to mark & feedback to his students &
3. few days before exams will print model answers of practice papers for students to self-learn on some occasions
can help improve a student's performance so much to the extent that no other help is needed? Shouldn't the rest of the school teachers employ this style of teaching too?

Well ASK! I am keen to know the reasons too!

I am posing a question, not making a defamed statement. Otherwise, please explain how a teacher who

The new teacher is here to help our kids since that teacher's presence is negligible. N mind you, my DD is a very obedient student, don't defame her.

If only saying that MAYBE your daughter did not pay attention to the lessons given is counted a defamation, think again. What you are posting although it is not very obvious to who you are talking about, it may hurt the teacher's heart.Would'nt it be seious defamation? And on what ground do you say that the teacher is not responsible and accountable for his work? How much do you know him? Are you his wife? If not, don't you ever post nasty comments on him. If you continue and so luckily he continues to teach your DD's class again, wouldn't it affect his performance rate? So people, think before you say or comment

Really hope the sch management to be firm on black sheep teachers.
We care so we give feedback. We are always grateful to the responsible teachers who teach with their sincerity.

This is surprising because the MOE personnel earnestly requested me to write in as they want to investigate even though I merely casually queried. MOE has obviously put in much resources into this project.
I didn't respond since what we want is to rectify immediate problems.
As I mentioned earlier, my DD has a good Maths & HMT teachers & we are thankful.

He is my child's teacher & I have common sense to assess him. You know so much about him? Are you his wife then?
I really 不想跟你们这些人一般见视。 As for the teacher, 若要人不知，除非己莫为。

Kiasu law emforcer & desolat2285, I don’t know if the 2 of you are of the same identity but please don’t support errant teacher blindly.

My DD will graduate this year & it’s the last year any of my kids will be in this school. It doesn’t benefit me to continue posting here, now that the principal has taken action on that teacher.
But I have gone through a trying period because of an irresponsible teacher & I do not wish other parents to go through the same turmoil & that’s why I keep posting to encourage parents to speak up boldly.
Don’t protect the black sheep. Please discern what is right from wrong.
We parents should unite & not fight against one another.

Couldnot control the class at all. She was on her first pregnancy that my kid's class had to change form teacher 6 times. On top of that, at the same time chinese teacher also pregnant first child. Kept on changing chinese and form teachers. Horrible experience. Previous principal.

They make me nervous too, make me wonder if I should get my kids to transfer - but heck, they are happy here, so why move them unnecessarily?

Unless there is really bad case, I don't see that there is nothing that cannot settled with the teacher directly from the start. I have made calls to teachers before and I get to know them and get to know my child better. I find teachers should all be given email accounts - and teachers should provide them to parents so that concerned parents can reach them and quickly remove doubts and move on. Leaving messages at the admin office for teachers to call back can take a few days, and by the time the teacher gets back, it would have been too late to clarify.

I especially appreciate those teachers who are willing to provide mobile numbers because I can send smses and get prompt confirmations and clarifications. I am usually 自动 so as not to bother the teachers unnecessarily, and to give my kids room to make mistakes on their own. I have a feeling those parents who do have direct access to teachers will have less of parent-teacher-child issues. Correct me if I am wrong.
