Anyone know about whether will pro teach continue to be the service provider for student care? Any current parents with their children in Rosyth on their opinion between the pro teach in the school and the one outside the school compound?

I am! Do you know if it is advisable for just one parent to attend if my husband is busy? Will I be able to complete all the tasks (fill in forms, attend talks, select school bus, and purchase uniforms & books & stationary) on my own?
It will be easier if there are 2 of you as you can split up for the tasks. The crowd for books and uniforms form very quickly. If really too long queue, you can purchase school uniform from the shop at Serangoon directly on another day. Even books and stationaries can be purchased later. -

According to someone, student care being in school has advantage of being able to drop by for lunch before proceeding to CCA (outside school harder). Also, cater to school schedule and syllabus so likely kids will find frens from same class etc. there.
However, within school compound also mean student care may not be able to operate on days compound is out of bound, eg. PSLE marking days if school is chosen as marking centre, PSLE oral or listening comprehension day, etc. -

The school’s recommendation (in the Orientation letter) is to buy 2 sets of school uniforms and 3 sets of PE attire. Can that be right? I thought it’s usually the other way round.

being a very kiasu person n not knowing if there is an emergency need to have a spare, I always buy 3 sets of uniforms n PE attire - even up to Sec School.
Better to be safe than sorry. -
I have a boy.
They tend to play rough and get their uniforms dirty easily.
I bought 5 shirts and 4 pairs of shorts.
As for PE attire, it is advisable to get three sets. PE is twice a week and they have PAL programme once a week which requires them to be in PE attire too.
Hope this helps.
