being a very kiasu person n not knowing if there is an emergency need to have a spare, I always buy 3 sets of uniforms n PE attire - even up to Sec School.

Better to be safe than sorry.

        I have a boy.

They tend to play rough and get their uniforms dirty easily.

I bought 5 shirts and 4 pairs of shorts.

As for PE attire, it is advisable to get three sets. PE is twice a week and they have PAL programme once a week which requires them to be in PE attire too.

        Hope this helps.

that means they wear PE 3x a week and non-PE 2x a week?

The school's recommendation (in the Orientation letter) is to buy 2 sets of school uniforms and 3 sets of PE attire. Can that be right? I thought it's usually the other way round.

I think 3 sets of school uniform and 3 sets of PE attire will do. Anyway, kids grow fast at this age and will need to change outgrown uniforms about every 2 years.

                      Hi,

My kid is in P1 next year. Anybody knows what we are supposed to bring on the first day of school? All the books? No, right? Also, is she supposed to turn up in PE attire or the school uniform?
