As of end 27 Jul, there are 70 registered for 69 vacancies for phase 2c. As predicted, there will be no phase 2c for this year registration. It will be interesting to find out whether those within 1km need to ballot or not. Let's keep our fingers cross and monitor the results for today and tomorrow. If total registered number is not too far off from 69, those within 1km should be safe.Now , the applicants already exceed the number of vacancy.

We just need proposer & seconder for P1 2011 intake preferably old boys/girls. A team of 10 other signature split between p1 & p2 parents. Submit to principal, cc moe & school advisory committee. By the time the issue get ding dong around due to chain of command, 5 months should be enough to put this localised issue thru. If we do it in November we can all forget about it.
Ok, we should arrange a session together to get this thing sign off and bring this matter to the attention of the school. Currently, I think the total response from the posts currently is at 4 affirmative replies. If anyone reads this forum and agrees to it, please response. Thank you. -

Applicants -
(1) Within 1km = 53
(2) Between 1km-2km = 22 -
Just retrieved the above info from the sch website .
Those 1-2 km will need to ballot.
Currently 75 applicants.
Those within 1 km still have a buffer of 16 . So shd be quite safe. -
Is it possible that there will be a sizable number of parents waiting to register on the last day as they need to monitor the registration statistics of those schools they are targeting at before making the final choice?
This will be known by tonight… when MOE updates their website. -

As of 29th July 2011:
Applicants -
(1) Within 1km = 65
(2) Between 1km-2km = 26
- No balloting for those staying within 1km from school.
- Balloting for those between 1 to 2km. Probability is not too high as there are only 5 vacancies left for the 26 applicants.
- No Phase 2C Supplementary this year. -
A increase of 12 applicants for within 1km n 4 within 1-2 km. As what u have said. Parents monitor the statistic n make a final move last min.
At least , now can confirm a place. -

I am not too familar with the curriculum of the primary levels at school. Does YZPS offer Higher Chinese and at which level if it does?
