I refer to the 1st letter to parents and certainly commend the school’s effort in their economy drive and efforts to go green. However, child’s teacher is now asking for parents to print out Annex B of the letter even for those who have NO allergy to fruits as a declaration. Shouldn’t this apply only to children who are allergic to fruits? Isn’t it a redundancy to print out a form just to show a tick in the NO Allergy box? Doesn’t this defeat the purpose of going green by putting it on parents expense? I’m sure the declaration of NO allergy can be simply added into the online acknowledgement form if not obtain hard copy only from those with allergies. My child is worried about being discriminated against as he tried to explain to teacher about my unwillingness to printout. I hope the school can truly be green and economical by managing such correspondence in a better way.

Hi, mummies. I am working in serangoon central. My company is looking for an admin person. Preferably living nearby Serangoon area. We are looking for SAHM who has some time to spare during the day while the kids are at school and is able to help with some admin work like data-entry, prepare standard documents, filing etc for a few hours everyday. Flexi hours - so I thought will be good for some SAHM who are looking for earning some spare cash and spend some hours at a work office. Anyone keen, please pm me. Package negotiable.

Dear mummies, I got a SAHM to work in my company last week already through this forum. It is almost a perfect match as timing matches and she lives so nearby. Thanks to those who have PM me to express interest.

I’m wondering how many parents registered as parent volunteer for kids born 2008. From the past record feel that this year also no need go for balloting, but worry that since government reserved 40 seat for phase 2B & 2C and it will affected phase 2A2 also increase of no. of registration… anyone can clear my doubt ? many thanks.

                        Hi Michelle

If u are staying around Yzps with 1 km, I believe will b safe . Last year, phase 2c 1-2km will need to ballot for 1 place as for 1km all are successfully intake.

                        Hope this helps! 🙂
