Hi, saw your posting on the other thread regarding the letter from the school. I haven't received anything from the school too. Got the pink & yellow forms they gave during registration only. Should we call the school to check?

No worries I manage to call them this evening. They are only sending the letter out today so we shd be able to receive either tmr or thur btw I only gt the pink form no yellow form. Are they the same forms?

Thanks for the reply. I checked & sorry, I have only the pink form too. BTW, I am PR & don't know much about the school. Checking the other threads to get reviews from other parents about the school.

Me too checking abt the sch seem like not much information too. I have been asking around and information gt was sch has a long history and always has a small intake even in the early years.

Cedar pri has 120 slots this year. Does it mean 4 classes?

I intend to reg my DD for cedar at next year’s 2014 P1 reg exercise.

Am looking forward to hear your experiences and thoughts on the sch.

Seem like u are staying quite near to me! Saw ur post at YZ and nw at cedar. I reg my boy at YZ during phase 2c but left wif 1 vacancy for those staying 1-2km. So balloting required so in the end I withdraw and go Cedar and I’m within 1km!!
Yes cedar all along has 4 class. Even in the 1970s… Higher Chinese at pri 2, they recently just change a new p so let’s wait and see ba!! Only concern I hv is the limited number of CCA sch offer.

Hi, yes, I stay at Potong Pasir. But the funny thing is cedar is marked as 1km to 2km from where my block is. Thus I was looking at all schools under this category.


I shared the same thought when I saw that YZPS has only 1 vacancy for the 17 children under 1-2km. Odds are bad. I also realise that the school lower the number of P1 this year so am evaluating the options. However, I could not make it for YZPS PV and Cedar told me that there's no PV program and it should be quite safe for us.

I also wanted to hear from parents (or children) on Cedar's program to get a better view rather than depend on the website.

I'm crossing my fingers for next year's P1 exercise. :xedfingers:

I have submit wait list for YZ although I reg my boy at cedar. Hopefully they will call loi. If u were to reg under phase 2c for cedar and for SC chances veri high u will get in. Dis yr under 2c 30 plus was SC the rest PR. The condo I’m staying at has quite a few cedar student. I have heard good and bad so it’s really up to us whether to listen or not. Once mummy whose son in PRi 4 told me if you ever send ur child to cedar must let him go for extra English Enrichment. Sch standard not there but when I saw their pass rate seem above national average.


Actually I oso dunno the sch much. Not much parents come in to his Cedar forum, so veri hard for us to know more abt the sch.
