Please don't be too quick to blame the school until you find out what actually happen. The kid could have left the gate by following other kids or classmates and he has Ezlink card to take MRT to Bishan. Why wasn't the parents or caregiver at school gate to pick up the child? Or why didn't the kid wait for parents/caregiver at the bus stop/gate to bring him home?Dazzle:
A P1 boy from Class 1D was lost today. I am not sure how did the school manage to let him go out from the gate by himself? :x
He was found later at 5.30pm at BISHAN mrt!
This is bad
the kid is in the same class as my boy, to what i heard from my son and souces that the kid takes school bus and he didnt put on the pri 1 tag so no body knows he is pri 1 kid and which bus he should take.
how he landed up in bishan... I guess only the kid knows how he get there.
I guess no point pinpoint the parents / teacher / shool / school bus. just have to keep remind your kid the bus no that he suppose to take, remember your phone no. if all buses left - go the general office to call you (so the kid has to remember your phone no by hard). that is all we can do for now, we can 24/7 look out for the kid neither can the teacher.
However, thought the school bus should do a headcount before he drives off.
The point I am trying to put across is that one should not immediately blame the school without knowing exactly what happen. It is being very unfair to the school, esp. with so many MS parents reading it. -
That’s right. I believe one of the reasons why we have chosen to put our kids in this school is because we know that it’s a good school.

because of this poor kid case, i keep nagging at my boy on the steps he should be doing. Until he say okok.. i know dont nag at me anymore

I was in Sch today and had a casual chat with the VP, Mrs Sim.
Yes the boy takes Sch bus home & he does not hav an EZ link card.
The Sch bus driver could not find him,a couple of teachers & a few boys went back to class & toilets to look for him. The sch bus was delayed by 10min. Finally the driver contacted the dad to inform him.
The Sch deployed all their teachers and combed both the Pri & Sec premises. They also activated 'parents relay team' to look out and search for the boys. The Assistance was slso seeked from the MRT staff,to look out for the boy at all stations.
The boy was found at 5.10pm at Bishan.
The boy said he took the MRT .... But as of this morning, they were still waiting to find out more and hear the boy's account ... -

Any of you letting your kids join the Soccer Club?
-
I think it’s a good development as MSHS doesn’t have this sport in their CCA. But it’s a bit inconvenient (and expensive?)
Might consider it when my son grows older or they have it as a school CCA. -

I am not... He doesn't seems to be interested and I do agree is expensive. -

Dun think so due to his current medical conditions. -
My son keep bugging me to let him join & I told him tt it is so inconvenient to bring him there. Won’t it be better if it is held in sch on weekdays?
