How's everyone after the first 2 days of staying with your child in school?
I think the parents were more excited and anxious than the children.

Mummies, how did you all fare today? Cannot go the classrooms anymore from today.
I cried when I had to let go of him as he walked up the stairs to the classroom. Letting go is so hard … Good thing I was alone at the basketball court after that cos my tears just kept flowing. I just couldn’t control my tears… ooh letting go is so hard … -
On Monday, the boys reached TP Lorong 2 at 250pm. Tues, they reached 210pm. I have taken 15 to 20 mins consideration for boarding bus after school. It could be earlier if the driver didn’t go to Serangoon Central.

Actually, y'day I checked with my son too if the school bus goes along Braddell then to TP after turning out of the school. From the way he describes it - he used his finger & drew on the floor, about turning out of school his finger went straight & then had to make a U-turn & then out to Braddell Road then to TP, I figured that it is going in & out of Serangoon that the U-turn came about. I am surprised at bus no. 21 making way to Serangoon Central as surely there must be many more boys staying in Serangoon Central & probably another bus then why put these 4 boys on the TP route bus? -
Hi Honey,
First day i spoke to the driver. He didn’t mention anything abt gging to Serangoon Central. Yesterday i spoke to the lady co-ordinator. Initially, she didn’t reveal the Serangoon Central route. It’s after much talking that she finally admitted abt the Serangoon route. Seems that only 4 boys are residing around Serangoon Central area. I told her she could have put the boys on the route to Hougang/Kovan/Lorong Ah Soo. It makes more sense than to use the route going to TP. She was mentioning no one was complaining but she does felt apologetic. She did say she will try to rearrange on the 4 boys though I’m not sure if she will really mean her words. I will monitor the situation this week and probably call her this weekend if it doesn’t improves.
BTW, which part of TP your boy drops off? -
VVJJ:
Hi VVJJ, we reside at Lor 8. Our drop off is earlier probably b'cos it's one of the 1st few drop off points after turning into TP from Braddell. By the way, what is your pick up time from Lor 2 in the morning?Hi Honey,

Hi Honey,
I didn't arrange for morning pickup. I reside in Serangoon Garden while the boys go back to my mum place for lunch in TP. Initially I wanted to arrange the morning pick up but the same excuse again fm the bus operator.. morning traffic etc etc so the pick up is 6am. This is too early though it took only 10 mins to drive to school. Besides, they wanted to charge me $135 per kid if it's 2 ways of different locations. In the end, I send them there in the morning before rushing to IJ Toa Payoh to drop my daughters. You can imagine what a mad rush i had in the morning

Hey VVJJ, looks like we have more in common than just our sons in Maris. My dd studies at IJ (TP) too. My hubby drops ds & me at Braddell MRT (ds & me take the train from there & transfer at Bishan MRT & then drop at Bartley MRT) & proceed to drop dd at IJ. So ds is on a one way school bus too.Hi Honey,

What class is your P1 ds in? Mine's in 1F. -
Ha… what a coincidence… my boy in 1F too… another one in 1G… twin boys… veri "siong" last 2 days running up and down during recess time as 1G classroom is right above 1F…
I have 2 gals too… Sec 1 and P4. Both IJ. Which level your daughter is in? -
Hey, were you in black on Monday? During recess, while watching the boys from the back of the classroom, I was talking to Debra - she was in orange top (her dd is in IJ P3). She pointed out to me this lady in black who has dd in IJ too. My dd is in P4.
