      Hi,

My son is in class 1F. My sister-in-law want me to fetch my son from school every monday and send him for private tuition. Can parents pls advise me what time should i reach the school i order to pick him up smoothly? If I were to reach there early, can I park my car inside the school and wait or I shall queue at the most left lane and wait? Thanks in advance

Is it a practice that all form teachers will send emails to parents to update on the happenings or impt things to note?

it all depends on individual teacher.....

When my elder DS was in P1 last year, the form teacher would email us on every Fri, even on the first week of school, whereas my younger DS in P1 this year, I've already received 3 daily emails and photos from the form teacher.

So it's really depend on the teacher style.

So far, there is no update from P1H teacher yet. 😞

We stay pretty far from MSHS (Yishun) so we are resigned that our son will be first to get picked up and last to get sent home. Regarding food, we pack some food for him in a lunch box and he eats it during the ride home when hungry.

So far he hasn't really given much feedback about his first day. Maybe us parents of 1D boys can share what information we know.

btw, my son is Nathan Wong (1D)
hey knyghtryder, did the bus uncle allow your son to eat on the bus? My son told me they are not allowed to eat on the bus 😞 having some issues with him finishing his water too as they need to ask permission to drink water in class 😞

                  thanks in advance!

I received a long email from form teacher of 1G yeasterday. Was shocked at the amount of things we need to prepare for the lessons....from the additional stationery to labelling every Math worksheet. Was up until past midnight to prep these 😞

My boy is in 1F. We don’t have to label the Maths worksheets just the coverpage of the book. Do you have any idea if the teachers have started teaching from the English and Math textbooks? My DS said that he only used the Chinese textbook so far…

                        Hi all,

Apologies if this topic had been touched on before… I am trying to find out if any one recommends TLC student care, which is opposite Maris Stella. Is there a wait list for this student care?
