Badminton CCA is $8 per hour, but since it is so often, it can cost between $120 - $200+ per month depending on which level and which month. May and Oct will cost less due to exam period. Dec will cost even more coz they do intensive training. It is free if you get into the school team in P4.


All children are invited to the trials but you can only join the CCA if you pass the trials.

Happen to view this post. Here’s an update of the fees charges of badminton CCA in 2014:-

All kids that were on ‘trial’ in my DS group went in! Heard it’s also the same in other session!
Deposit : $105 ( baffled as to why this is required for a CCA under School umbrella?
Fees per term of 3 sessions a week: $495
Fees for a year easily runs up to $2000 per year! There is no reduction of fees in May or Oct this year at all. No replacement of classes if missed due to sick or school designated functions (ie. Autumn fest or children day celebration etc). Last minute notice of training (like hours b4) via watsapp is the norm or that parents had to ask for confirmation of training session. Training schedule list with dates given ahead per term to other CCA group is almost unheard of. Parents hv to trust ‘blindly’ to their arrangement of training as they always says that will justify to fees pay ( ie. Train 30 mins more during hols which we are unable to keep track of).
Coach’s many assistants train the kids every session.
In my opinion, this is one money making unorganized group which parents had to bite the bullets for becos it’s hard to kill a kids interest in the sport. Tried getting schools help but was told that school’s main role in this are to provide training courts to a vendors n they are not in anyway involve in the training curriculum. Shocking??!
Wonder if there are any parents out there sharing this fix? Anyone sharing the same plight? Any solution other than getting DS to quit something he is so passionate about!? Need some advice here.

Does anyone know what time does the orientation end tomorrow ? I know it start at 2pm. My boy need to rush off to his kindy gradudation at 5pm.

It should end by 3 pm according to the admin staff whom I called this morning.
