Hi, I’m considering Maris Stella Pri for my Son who will be in p1 next year. Can someone kindly share more about the academic aspect?

          1) How much homework is given commonly
          2) do the Teachers do enough teaching or do they expect kids to sought help outside?
          3) do they touch on high order thinking questions? Or just basics mostly for Maths?
          4) any streaming done?
          5) when do they start teaching mt compo for the kids?
Any input would be appreciated, thank you!

            Student care places limited
The tougher math questions come in p5

              Dear parents,

I intend to enrol my DS in Maris. I would like to gather some info…

What’s are the current school hours?
Based on past years info i understand lower pri students from p1-p3 are not allowed to buy food, they will have cater food? How much is it by weekly or monthly?
How is the traffic like in the morning based on the new route and how early must we reach school to avoid traffic jam?

              TIA!

I am tearing apart between MSH and SAJS for my boys.

We are living just within 800m away from MSH but we are not affiliated to the school nor are Catholics which made us falling into Phase 2C.

However for SAJS, we are Christians and recently affiliated to the church where in terms of distance, we are also within 1km which gives us priority in phase 2B.

Looking at this scenario, should I try my luck in MS - I really like the school and the system. Or should I go for SAJS since I have a better chance of getting in?
