My P1 boy is in Pri 1B. I have another in 6A. From what i know, I don’t think there was any selection done for table tennis. Both my boys are in the table tennis team. Table tennis has "Catch them young" prog too … trg is every sunday morning.

Yes, my son got the selection form yday. Hubby & I are unsure if we would like him to attend. Heard that some kids quit after a few sessions even though you pay for the whole term cos they find the stroke learning too mandane (esp so for the young & restless P1 boys ).

Any advice?

I had expected that there is selection process for table tennis cos it is one of MSHS's star sport after all, read the ST this morning by the secondary boys? Congras to them!

my youngest boy was exposed to table tennis since kindergarten days due to the bro’s involvement in tt.

TT "Catch them young" prog is something like the badminton trg club. you need to pay to attend the trg.

If you r interested, you can try calling the teacher in charge instead. That was how i started my p6 boy in maris TT 4 yrs back. But now i’m not sure whether they have changed the procedure and put in selection trials etc.
