Ohhh.. Ok ok. Thanks alot!
Hi autumn82,Tinkerbelle:
Thanks alot Tinkerbelle!!
My gal was telling me they drew beautiful rabbit for the art lesson. I was asking her to ask her teacher whether she can leave the drawing block in her locker, but then she forgotten and brought the whole thing back again.. zzzz
Your DD can put any books (but no valuables or jacket) she wants in her locker. Just don't forget to bring the books back home for homework when she needs them.
Some gals do bring their art bag to and from sch. Maybe the art bag is too big to fit into the locker with the other books or maybe they're worried it'll get lost. If you want, your DD can leave the art block in her locker without the art bag.
Maybe this time round I wanna go @@ how big her lockers r... Coz some days the books really tooooooo heavy. LOL.
Their 'locker' looked like a big cabinet divided into rows - Rectangular not square size kind. It is big and roomy enough in length to put the art bag, whiteboard + marker pack.
Hope this helps. -

Today's my gal's chinese spelling... I made her do both..
I did not see any Chinese Spelling list in my daughter's file. You DD got the list?jesyeo:
My DD is in the P1 respect too. She told me they will have Chinese Spelling on 12 Jan. I don't know whether the teacher just test the HAN YU PING YING only or must include the Chinese Character? like WA WA (ε¨ε¨οΌοΌ
Hey great to know another parent whose DD is in respect. Yes. Chinese spelling tomorrow. Only the HAN YU PING YING. What is your DD's name?
My DD mentioned the English Spelling and showed me the list but not the Chinese.

Hi Pepooh
I will be attending th PTM on 21 Jan.
See you there.
By the way, did your DD mention the Chinese Spelling to you?
DD told me that they have a test yesterday and she was told she belong to a group for Chinese.
Are they going to band and group the children so soon? -
cantbearit2:

Hi cantbearit2,
Good luck...Hope your DD will enjoy it....can use it for DSA (direct sch admission) in P6....Can't remember if I mentioned in earlier posts, 2 MCS gals were admitted to RGS thru DSA with R gym in 2010.

Hi funkymonkey,I wonder when we wil know if we got into the CCa we wanted!!!
Also on the 21st January, the parents' briefing is 9.30 am-11.30am...are we supposed to bring our child long?I'm SAHM so how????
Anyone else out there know if our gal has school as per normal?if then,i'll definitely have problems!!!Gal wil be too tired if she follows me but then again, thee'll be no one to send her to school later....YIKES!!!Better start planning just in case.... :?: :?:
You will know which CCA your DD has been selected for by end of this week as CCA will start next week for the lower pri gals. Good luck.
Last year, for the P1 parents' briefing, some parents brought their gals along in uniform. Yeap, sch as usual for your gals on that day. You can either get your DD to sleep earlier the night before and bring your DD along for the briefing or get someone to take care of her while you attend the briefing, then go back home to send your DD to sch (Ya, a bit troublesome). Still got time to organise something.

jesyeo:
Hi jesyeo,What does SAHM means? I guess I have to bring my girl along as I have the same problem. No one else to bring her to school later.
Have u submitted the CCA form? Mine is still in my DD's bag. Have put it in there since Monday but her teacher din collect it.
Btw, my DD said Ms Sung appears to be very fierce during the class she said she always angry. Haha. I think she meant fierce. She prefers her chinese teacher.
SAHM-stay at home mum.
I suggest you ask your DD to pass the CCA form to her FT on her own accord; otherwise, your DD might miss out on her CCA. CCA will start next week for the lower pri gals. I know it can be a daunting task for a P1, maybe she can go with a few classmates to submit the form to her FT.
Ya, Ms Sung can be fierce....that's why her class is always the most well-behaved P1 class... But she's a very caring and encouraging teacher. Maybe you can read the +ve feedback about Ms Sung at the below link:

Hi autumn82,
Chinese and English spelling on the same day?? Very shiong!! Never encountered this situation with my DDs in the last 5 years. Is your DD ok with that? If not, maybe you can bring that up to the FT during the parents' briefing. If enough parents 'protest', the teachers will compromise.
