My gal is finally better and back in school today! She told me there's 听写 today but was exempted cos she missed school last week. Lucky her!

She's coping ok I think, she doesn't tell very much, I actually have to dig info from her!!

Hope your gal is coping better in GSSC.. May take a while, like how younger children take a while to adapt to Childcare. But once they get past that initial stage, they'll enjoy the company of many friends! Hang in there!

Sorry...not sure what you need to bring for the art trial. Guess to be save, maybe can bring art block, oil pastels and colour pencils.

Tinkerbelle, thanks for telling me to email to Mdm Tan Li Kiang, she was so kind to call me back around 7pm that day but I was rushing down to fetch my DD so she said she will call me again the next day, but guess what? she called around 9pm that nite, she explained to my hubby that she will arrange an audition on ART to my DD on wed and see if she has talent to it then we decide to let DD join either Art Club or R Gym, so I will let DD to decide on her own.
Oh yes, when I did PV last year I saw the family photos pinned on the wall too, I felt very sweet when I saw it that time, now I’ll experience the real thing happens to my DD and me too.

Worriedparent74, good to hear your DD and my DD are from the same class of P1 Gratitude, and going to study care too, oh really? the teacher there are very fierce? Yes, maybe your DD has not been in childcare before, just give her some time to adjust coz everything is still new to her.

Preciousmoments, sorry to hear your DD was sick and away from school for a week but no worry, there’s not much thing she has missed, no spelling so far, just some simple Math homework on week 1 and 3 others worksheets from last week too, but all are very simple one and remember to bring Social Studies Activity on every Tue and Art Pack on Fri as my DD forgot to bring and she wrote on her helpmate the next day. Hope your DD will recover soon.

Funkymonkey, congrats to your DD joins Art Club, if my DD can join then they will be in the same CCA.

Btw, there should be a gal named Tiffany in your DD's class who takes the same school bus as them..

Ya...The teachers will give more info to the P6 and encourage those who are keen to apply. The teacher will then write a testimony for the applicant.

MCS will distribute DSA pamplets from MOE to inform parents of DSA when the gals are in P3-P6. This is to give parents ample time to plan for CCA and various national competitions. :lol:
