Oh dear me...poor gal. Hope it's not too serious. Would you consider emailing the FT to inform her of the incident and the person involved? That way, at least the teacher is aware and she can have a pep talk to the offender and let her know that her behaviour is not acceptable.

The apple tree is the family tree. U have to cut pictures of ur DD grandparents, parents and siblings and herself and paste it on those apples in family hierarchy. Then paste another family photo at the bottom of bottom right rectangle box. That's all.

Hope your DD had fun at the dance audition today. They won't know the results today. In a few days time, the teacher will give out letters to inform you of the outcome. Good luck to your DD. Heard from DD that about 80 plus lower pri students went for the dance audition. Pretty stiff competition huh...

My DD said she had a small Maths test. The teacher will read out a few questions and she has to write down the answer on the exercise book. She very blur..she is not sure if is a Maths test. I have to ask her to quote me an example of the question, then confirm to her that is Maths. One of the question is (\"Which number is the smallest? 1, 3 or 5\"

The maths 'test' you describe is what the sch calls Mental sums. It's done twice a week and answers are written onto a small blue notebook. There are 5 questions each time and it will be marked out of 5. They are simple maths questions which the child is expected to calculate mentally. At the end of the term, the best 5 mental sums marks from that term will make up part of your DD's maths marks. Hope this helps. :lol:

Dance Audtion
When I asked my DD how is it, she said \"Good\" and she was eager to show me the steps. She also said the teacher commented that she is good. However, when the teacher asked her if she is interested in Dance, she answered \"NO\". Alamak! feel like banging my head to the wall!!! :stupid: :stupid: :stupid: Haiz. Her mind is all on Art. I will check with the teacher (Sharon Goh) if I am not wrong, whether she will be removed due to her response.

If is me..I will try to dig as much info from my DD first..get to know the whole incident before I make any judgement. If is serious, the I would let the FT knows about it so that she can keep a look out.
