chergaby,
oh thanks for telling me, that's sweet :please: see my blur blur DD never told me this.
the teacher said it's better for us to prepare lunch for our DDs, perhaps only Art Club finishes late at 12pm or not so many girls there join Art Club? but i'll pack lunch for her coz my DD is a big eater, biscuit/chocolate bar sure not enough for her for lunch.
actually i was a bit upset as DD got hurt at SCCG, the teacher called me saying that she got hurt her right head by accident, they quickly pad ice pack on her wound already and also walked her to the FT of what happened if in case she was not feeling well then FT will call me. but when DD came back home told me that it's not an accident, there was a girl intended to open a cupboard or shelve in toys room even that girl saw my DD was nearby and then knocked on her head :heresmyfish: and the whole thing dropped down \"bang\" , of course DD was crying loud but luckily it's nothing serious by the time i fetched her on the bus home.
chergaby:
Hi LVKT,
Our DDs had Oreo biscuits together during lunch y'day. Mine bought an egg and save the energy bar for recess. She came back last night & complained that she's famished!
Did GSSC tell you they will not be able to prepare light snacks for them? DH said they agree to do so next week. I ask him to check again tmr. In case he heard them wrongly... Actually, if Wed is a CCA day for most, it will be nice to get the kitchen aunty to come in earlier to prepare for them to pack n go. Hopefully they can accommodate...
My DD said she had tea party with your girl... so cute. Hahaha... -
funkymonkey,
are you a mother of 3? :salute: that's the reason why i dare to have a 2nd one, just in case if he/she may be asthmatic again, then i will die.
good to hear your son has grown out of eczema, i hope i can get DD to learn swimming again but she seems not so keen or wait till P3 to learn from school then.funkymonkey:
Hi lvkt,
Hi lvkt,Tinkerbelle:
hihi,
thank you for all mommies's concern on my DD's health, i think i don't need to visit her school today as she has become better, less coughing now.
actually i did try many methods to cure her asthma or boost up her immune system and now making cordyceps soup for her, sigh..damn exp  and i've also gone for a talk about asthma that actually there is currently no cure for asthma, you may have less or no asthma attack when u grow older and this will depend on your health condition too, that means younger child and elderly will have more frequently attack in general. well, actually my DD's health is much better now, she used to be admitted twice at the age of 13 months and 3 yrs old, she was sick every alternative week in N1 that i couldn't stand it and completely dropped her out from school, sigh..those were the days...just hope that she will become better from time to time when she grows up..
Great to hear that your DD has recovered from her cough. Must be a relief for you. Seems like her asthma was quite bad when she was young. Ya, I've heard other parents mention that some kids do 'recover' from asthma as they grow up. Let's hope your DD is one of them.
Ya,my DS also got better nw that he's almost 11.
I remembered when he was younger in and out of hospital....
we bought the neubalizer machine to save hospital visits and rental on the machine!!!
Swimming DOES help!my boy did swim started at 3 and by the time he was in P3..lesser attacks.same goes for his eczema...just seem to dissappear :?
-
jesyeo,
good to hear your mother is better now.
jesyeo:
Thanks Tinkerbell.
Hi jesyeo,Tinkerbelle:
Hi all,
Can I check with you, my DH said DD has to record down the storybooks that she read on the helpmate, and every 4 story books read, she can go color the chart pasted in the classroom. My DH said it can be any story books but DD said can only be those from the school library. Anyone can advice me who is right?
Like what funkymonkey said, your DD can record down any books that she reads. Every 4 books she reads, she can colour a star on the chart behind the classroom. Those who reads a lot will be rewarded at the end of the term. A good incentive for the child to read. Just ensure your DD gets her teacher to initial the books she wrote down before she colours the chart....some teachers want to check the list first.
BTW, how's your mom now?? Hope she's feeling better now.
Mom is finally emotionally better now after she got tranferred to community hospital. She will need to be there for at least 2 weeks and after that will need to go for Day Rehab. Hopefully she will be able to gain back most of her strength soon. :)
-
thanks again tinkerbelle, certainly hope so too.

lvkt, dun worry, a lot of my frenz actually \"grew out\" of asthma as they grow up. In fact, most use swimming as a reason. Not sure how true. One of my frenz even manage to go Nepal during his adulthood. He told me though the air is thin, he manage it well. So don't fret, ya. :ugogirl: -
