Hi lvkt,lvkt:
actually i was a bit upset as DD got hurt at SCCG, the teacher called me saying that she got hurt her right head by accident, they quickly pad ice pack on her wound already and also walked her to the FT of what happened if in case she was not feeling well then FT will call me. but when DD came back home told me that it's not an accident, there was a girl intended to open a cupboard or shelve in toys room even that girl saw my DD was nearby and then knocked on her head :heresmyfish: and the whole thing dropped down \"bang\" , of course DD was crying loud but luckily it's nothing serious by the time i fetched her on the bus home.
Hi lvkt,
Oh dear...Poor gal. Hope your DD is ok now. Hopefully, she won't get a big bruise. Take care k.
ohhhh dearie!!!,
hope you gal is ok!!!

Must do what acbj did and get your gal to POINT her out and made your PRESENCE felt

thanks for all your concerns, she didn't have any pain and bruise now and she's happy to go to school on friday too.

acbj,
yes, first time and the teacher from GSSC called me and DD told me the name of the girl too but i don't want to disclose here though...and thanks for asking your DD for me, i mean girls do be naughty sometimes but the point is GSSC should have taught that girl to apologize and understand it hurts and be considerate, i'll get hubby to talk to the teacher when he fetches DD on monday morning.acbj:
Hi Ivkt
I checked with my DD.
She said she didn't know about the incident.
Maybe they are in different study groups???
Hope that your DD is better.
:hugs: :hugs: -
chergaby,
i feel the same too, when i saw the sofa has a big hole on it, i was like sigh..\"why didn't i know it eariler so i can donate something to them?\" coz i recently moved and left all furnitures to the buyers in order to save the trouble of moving it out, if i knew it earlier i sure can do something for them. you know are they a non-profit organization?
same here, DD has 7 or 8 mozzie bites too :roll:chergaby:
OMG... hopefully your DD is much better nw.lvkt:

actually GSSC has a lot to improve. Over-cluttered cupboards. insufficient space to hang uniform. Being the late-comer, DD ended with no hanger and space. Her uniform is always kept in the laundry bag till shower time. I feel like \"sponsoring\" them a proper clothes rack & hangers.
just y'day, DD came back with 7 mozzie bites from GSSC. -
worriedparent74,
u know when the teacher called me and mentioned about the name of your DD, i was confused too until i said i wanted to talk to my DD then i confirmed it was my DD indeed, sigh..how can they make such mistake of calling other girl's name when she has left already??? :?WorriedParent74:

ya, i know being an only child will be lonely and my mother is an only child too but she is very sociable and happy, but i do feel say when DD keeps looking at other kids who has siblings to play with, so hubby and i will spend more time with her and hopfully she will be growing up happily same as my mom :love:funkymonkey:
Hi lvkt,
Yes,i'm a mum of 3.
and yes..sometimes i feel like dying coz we all have asthma except for my DH..especially when ALL of us had to take turns on the neubalizer
:!: :!: :!:
But it's soooooooo nice really when they play together and hear them bonding on weekend mornings.... :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:
my tow DDS are super close and my DS is very protective of DD1..always asking her \"any teacher bully you today?\"

You mean the girl did not apologize to your girl?acbj,

Hmm.... I wonder what is their SOP for handling such incident.
I thought that GSSC would inform the parents of the both parties regarding this incident especially since it's a head injury.
:? :? -
Huhβ¦that must b a joke
They called my DH n he said my gal was sitting right beside her
My gal did mentioned to me that on her 1st few days at GSSC she was kinda bullied. Some kids refused to let her sit beside them during lunch and had been pushing her fr one table to another
So I suspected that could be part of the reasons she resisted going to the centre n cried everytime she reached the gate
Hope the centre improve on this area not that we are KS but which parent wants to see their kidsbeing hurt or bullied right? -

My niece is an only child too and she is LOVELY.She is NOT spoilt and have wonderful manners.
She is very sociable and confident.
It's all in the way we bring up our kids....i guess
its just a personal choice to have kids or not and whether we can stretch ourselves enough to make time for everyone
Just my thoughts only lah
:xedfingers: :xedfingers:
I'm sure your gal will be a happy happy child as you and DH spend quality family time together!!!

acbj:
Hi acbj,
Yes!! That's me!!Tinkerbelle:
Hi acbj,
You were wearing a purple top today??? Short hair & specs.....Think I saw you at school this evening at the foyer too. I saw a preggie with her DH at the foyer talking to Mr. Victor Yeo. Your DD is wearing a purple PE shirt , right???
Hey, all of you must be either 'Ninja' masters or CIA/FBI/KGB trained!!!!!
How come I don't hv the slightest idea????
My DH got a call from a Mr Yeo saying that during PE, 2 of the girls ran into each other. My DD had a nose bleed, but they took care of it and she stopped bleeding. Turn out that there are two Mr Yeo, so the first one helped me to look for the 'right' Mr Yeo.
I was concerned about how it happened and if the other girl is alright....
According to the teacher, the other girl is alright, no nose bleed.
Just thankful that both of they are alright.

How is your DD? Hope she is ok
After seeing your post, I asked my DD about this incident and she told me that your DD nose bled.
Must constantly remind the girls to be careful....Sigh....but accidents do happen....
Always praying for their safety in school....LoL....
