Oh good that u enjoying ur work. which industry are u in? I used to work full time from home before DD1 gets into P1. Now have to change to part time as I need to cook lunch and prepare her for school in the morning. So how u manage ur DD? Put her in day care while u work during the day?

      lvkt:
      jesyeo,
i work from home too, i work full time and only go office for meeting biweekly, like today i went office for meeting this morning. i know it's hard to balance both work and family but i still prefer to work and this job giving me flexibility to work from home so it's great. πŸ˜‰

[quote=\"cantbearit2\"]R u for real???? Thot u quit 2b tai tai. Hee....

hmm..I just feels very tired having to handle the kids, household chores and work together. That's why decided to quit. My circumstances is a bit different from most of u. I work from home :). So morning till 1pm, I will do household chores, cook lunch, tutor DD and prepare her for school. Then I start work from 1pm to 5pm at home. AFter that will cook dinner, bring the kids back, make them eat, shower, homework blah blah.

I have tender but my boss wants me to stay on for a few more months till he can find a good replacement. Just tot of going back to work as a freelancer after I resign. But if really got kids wants me to tutor them, then I can also consider. hahaha..flexible.

Hmm.. Pros and cons for me.

Pros - no need to guide DD on her HW
Cons - I will not be able to concentrate on my work. She will be keep disturbing me. Will need to attend to her on and off request which is quite frustrating when I need To rush my work and she is at the back keep calling \"mummy mummy mummy\" haha

        lvkt:
i agree, we (women) should pamper ourselves well too, now i understand why there are so many school holiday, it may not mean for kids but for us (parents) to take a break too. πŸ˜„

Wow I am blurred reading ur schedule. Is really no joke taking care of three kids alone. Really have to salute to u. For me, I put my DD2 in full day Childcare so that I am free up from kids in afternoon. That's why can spend sometime working.

Is great that at least u have weekends to rest. Can't work like a robot everyday. πŸ™‚

I have a joke to share. Yesterday morning..ard 6+am, we were all sleeping soundly and suddenly hear my DD1 scream. And guess what, she said DD2 bite her toes!!! but DD2 is sleeping! So how is that possible? After some thought, I concluded that my DD1 must have somehow places her toes at DD2's mouth and DD2 thought that I am giving her milk bottle, so she just bite it. hahahaah..coz every morning, I will just give her milk to make her wake up. πŸ™‚

This really lightens my day. This kind of confusion happen to me during my sec sch days too.

We had camp at sch and all the girls were sleeping side by side. One of my classmates had accidentally set the alarm clock in the middle of the nite. We were all sound asleep when the alarm clock went off. Thinking I was sleeping in my own bed, I picked up the alarm clock (wif eyes still closed) and say in a v frustrating tone:\"hello? hello?\" and finally slam down the phone (the alarm clock). All my classmates woke up frustrated wif the alarm clock but ended up laughing their heart out. the next morn, I became the joke of the day. I was the only one who did not know abt the story till they relate it to me.

                      Hi can'tbearit,

                      Dun worry...for identified girls only.
My gal got loads of issues with her dyslexic and blah blah blah so the teacher probably wants to iron things out with me about her academics \"abilities\" or lack off i think.....
We were given the form on Monday .
                      eeeeekkkkkssss πŸ˜“ πŸ˜“ πŸ˜“
so if your gal not \"identified\" then it probably means your gal is doing great!!!!So no worries :celebrate: :celebrate:
Oh I C. Hey no worries ya, funkymonkey. Your DD is dyslexic so of course there will bound 2b challenges ahead of her. But given such a gd mummy, IM sure everythg will turn out well. She juz needs lots of encouragement and patience fr the teacher and family. πŸ˜‰
