Hi,
Does anyone know how the after-school pick-up with private cars work? I drove past the school last week. I saw some cars parked along the double yellow lines outside of the school. Are we allowed to drive in to pick up our DDs? -
Gin:
Gin, I hope your dd is feeling better now. How come she had to have her tonsils removed? Is it because she has been having tonsillitis? Thanks, I'll be sure to take up your offer of help! When will we need the models method? I'll PM you with my questionsHi michyms,
I am very sure you can handle the Maths sums easily. All you need to do is go through the Maths Coursebooks - one chapter at a time, Get Maths Intensive Drills Workbook 1 from Popular Bookstore and you go through the work one chapter at a time. You can do it! :). Just make sure that when it comes to Models, do it diligently, no short cuts. If you ever need any help, just let me know, I can show you how it is done and then you can teach your DD :).

Hi Gin⦠you need to apply for car label ( $6 per car per year)⦠then you are allow to drive into the school. The cars park at the yellow lines is because the car park is full at MCS and they have to allow the school bus to leave before the cars is allow to go in to pick up the children

Hehe, sorry for the late replied. We are doing well except this week seemed like a holiday week to my DD. Now its a pain to drag her back to 'school mood' while preparing her mock chinese test.
Hi LLX04,LLX04:
Hi tinkerbelle,
So glad to see u back. Was wondering where is our marymount guru gone to...
Yeah, it's a relief to know we don't have to move.
:snuggles: Glad to see another familiar 'face'. How have you and your DD been?
 Haha....no guru la. Now you guys are the gurus. Good to see that you guys are sharing with the new parents.
Ya, told DD2 last night about the sch upgrade and first thing she asked was if the sch will be ready before she leaves the sch. Haha...she wants to enjoy the new facilities...

LLX, hello, is your dd1 in P1 or 2 this year?
-
Hi michyms,
Models should be taught about at the end of year1 in preparation for P2. Sure, no problem, can pm me when the time comes.
Our DD2 had her tonsils removed because she was having tonsilitis too often and the ENT specialist said she had big tonsils. On a scale of 0-4, she had 3 on a normal day.
We actually decided to have her checked at the ENT centre at KK after a frightening incident in June, when we were in KL to attend the wedding of the son of the friend I was earlier talking about. We thought we had a very real chance of 'losing' her (as in, she might have died)! Well, after this surgery, it was found that her tonsils weren't all too big, but rather long. Even the surgeon, Prof. Dr. Henry Tan, had to laugh when he told us that. :).
Hi KSMUM,
Thanks for the info! Now, I don't have to worry about pick-up :). -
