LMAO will wear tailored MCS pinafore but the party better be dammmmmmn good man free flow food drinks music. And have a camera-ban!

Moreover, cannot wear that out of the house or the kids who of course would be left at home for that kind of party, would be very confused at what daddy and mummy are up to. Must be like a teen again, but this time keep the pinafore inside the bag when leave the house, and change into it in the car before the party!

Pari, mummies with dds already in MCS have been really helpful to the rest of us whose dds are waiting to go into P1 next year I am also quite worried about the pressure, and I think the most important to teach them to take responsibility for their own studies. I'm not sure about the BASC for MCS, but I think it's best to at least call up to enquire now if you are looking into it?[/quote]


Hi Michyms, Thanks I agree that we need to teach our DD to be more responsible…trying to teach her but at times she is li’l playful …hopefully she will improve..I was also thinking to call BASC but thought better check first with you mommies….

Hi Pari,

I can understand your concerns about DD starting P1. No need to worry too much.....MCS eases the gals in slowly. For P1, the sch really start from scratch.....like counting 1-10. The gals will not be expected to do lots of homework at P1. Most importantly, with the new MOE initiatives for lower primary, learning is actually FUN as the activities really do engage the students.

Hi Tinkerbelle, It is actually a relief to know that they will start from basics otherwise I was so worried after seeing their MCS Orientation Book…and all the test they will be going thru in coming year… hopefully they make it li’l slow on girls don’t want DD to scare off from studies..No problem on BASC…will call them and check…
