      Hi Tinkerbelle,

Hmm my girl din comment much the Teachers Day. She was happy that her teachers like the presents. I only bought presents for her form teacher and mother tongue teacher guessing she won't have chance to see the rest of the teachers.

How about ur DD? hope she enjoys too. πŸ™‚
      Hi jesyeo,
Oh yes... DDs enjoy their teachers' day celebrations. We also just bought presents for the form teachers & MT teachers. πŸ˜‚

The kids will get more excited when it comes to Children's day....They will get to see teachers put up performances for them.... :imcool:

        Hi michyms,

Wow...you're truly a wonder mum...fancy trying to work at home, taking care of 3 sick kids, breaking up fights etc. I'm sure you must be glad that life in your household is back to norm once again....hehe

No, I'm not at AMK. I'm at Bishan....not far from AMK.

Forest Adventure is at Bedok Reservoir. It's great for kids who are active with too much energy to spare....like my gals...keke. It's for kids 5 years and above. If your DD1 is interested, check out the website: http://www.forestadventure.com.sg

Ya, I remember watching smurfs on Sundays as a child too...that seems like many moons ago...keke. Watching with the kids will surely bring back some sweet memories.

DD1's classmate ever had a mild case of HFMD which was picked up in the early stage and was kept at home for 2 weeks. The sch did not close down and lessons were as usual for the rest of the class. Guess the sch did not feel that it was a threat as long as the affected child was isolated for 2 weeks & certified well enough to be back in sch by the GP. πŸ˜‰
Tinkerbelle, I'm not a wonder mum  - I had my MIL and maid to help out too, but I was around to make sure there was still some resemblance of order at home. So I was like the mediator of fights, and also at the same time, took the opportunity to step up some P1 prep work for dd1.

Yes, those days watching smurfs seem like many moons ago indeed - have you seen it yet? Let me know if its any good.

          Hi michyms,
Lucky you have some help, otherwise, it would have been more chaotic πŸ˜‰ Still considered as a Supermum la...have to co-ordinate everything plus work...really not easy. :salute:

Yes, we have been to watch 'The Smurfs'. It was really good. The kids really enjoyed themselves and couldn't stop singing the Smurfs' tune...Lalala lalala after the movie. Enjoy your holidays. πŸ˜‚

              Hi wimdils,
Yes...watching Smurfs really brought back many childhood memories...keke. I went for the 9pm show and was surprised that there were so many adults (without kids) watching the movie.

DD2 also covered her eyes with her cardigan for some scenes that looked dark & 'scary'...keke πŸ˜‰

Enjoy the rest of your sch holidays. πŸ˜‰

Tinkerbelle, I was actually half thinking of going alone with dh to watch smurfs, without the kids... all for the sake of reliving childhood memories πŸ˜‰

                  Hi michyms,
Keke...can also relive 'park-tor' days. :rotflmao: Nowadays, DH and I also seldom watch movies alone....the kids always tag along and play gooseberries...haha

Seriously, the kids will really enjoy it. Oh forgot your 2 younger ones might be too young to appreciate. πŸ˜‰

Selamat Hari Raya to you and ur family. Lucky for the kids can enjoy Hari Raya fully this year since they don't have school much this week and its post tests break. I remembered my gal still has Chinese spelling on CNY week.

Ur gal is definitely more hardworking than my gal who takes it easy and seldom score full marks for her spelling.
                      Hi LLX04,
Thanks so much for the greetings! We had a great time.
My gal makes up with hard work with whatever else she lacks in \"other departments\". Honestly, we just tell her she can do anything as long as she tries hard enough...even if it takes her much longer time than others!
I'm sure your gal picks up fast and understands concept better so no worries, she'll be fine :rahrah:
