Hope everyone had a nice holiday.

First day back at sch for the new term.....how is everyone's DD's first day back at sch? Time really flies....already the last term for the year.

Ye! It’s amazing that time really flies. It seemed like yesterday while our gals just started primary 1.


My gal is still in her post holiday mood, she is still in her beauty sleep now. Guess have to slowly adjust her sleeping routine again.

She is excited to perform on the Primary 1 orientation day for us. She brought a school bus survey form. I am impressed that the school is taking our feedback on bus services.

She has been joining dance club CCA since Jan so we are looking forward to see what she has been learning and maybe throw her some encouragements. She wants to discontinue her dance club and join other CCA next year. :bonk:

Holiday week passed by so fast! We had enjoyed ourselves but very tired after the Bintan trip. My DD hasn't even started preparing for her Oral Test. Need to start pushing her now.

Why does your DD want to quit dance? Is it because she wants a change or she doesn't enjoy dance?

Just for your info, to join another CCA (like Gym and sports), your DD would have to be selected by the CCA thru the Talent Identification Programme. What is your DD interested in for next year?

Yes, DD came home yesterday and told me they are having poem recitation & oral exams soon! :shock: She's not prepared for it yet so it looks like we'll need some intensive revision for oral, especially for Chinese. Time to get down to business...keke

Hi jesyeo and LLX04,
You can go and watch your DD perform for the P1 Orientation. They'll need to perform twice that day, once for the parents and once for the P1 students.

If you watch the performance with the other P1 parents, you'll get to sit down in the hall. If you don't want to sit through the P1 orientation once again, you can come later when your DD perform for the P1 students (about 1 hour before dismissal) and stand behind the hall to watch. But parking will be an issue if you come later. Enjoy. :rahrah:
