Hi chergaby,Can anyone advise...
1) What time does PM session starts & ends?
2) On PE days, are the girls allowed to wear PE attire for the entire day or they hv to change?
TIA!
The PM session starts at 12.10pm and ends at 6.30pm.
On PE days, P1 & P2 do not need to change into their PE attire. They are allowed to wear their PE attire for the whole day.

Hi acbj,Hi mommies
Is it true that all primary students will have to learn swimming?
If yes, where is MCS taking the children to swim?
Toa Payoh swimming pool?
Thinking of getting my DD some basics before school starts.
Any mommies sent their darlings for swimming lessons?
Any comments on Yishun Safra swimming classes?
In MCS, only the P3 learns swimming. Lessons are conducted at Toa Payoh Swimming Pool.
There are different classes (Beginners, Intermediate & Advanced levels) which caters to students with different abilities. If your DD has no prior experience, she will be placed in the Beginners' class where the most basic skills will be taught. :imdrowning: -
Hi Tinklebelle
Thankyou so much for sharing.
It really help us to be better prepared.
Since swimming lessons will be conducted during P3. at least there is still ample of time for us to get help for our darlings (mine doesn't mind the baby pool and like to splash water, but is a little afraid of the 'real' swimming pool).
:thankyou: :thankyou: :thankyou: -

You are most welcome. Know what you mean, my elder DD was also like your darling. She was afraid of the deep pool and was in the beginners' class. You'll be surprised that there are many kids who can't swim by end of P2. Went to check them out once at the pool. There were many other parents there too..keke. Guess I'm not the only kiasu one. :lol:Hi Tinklebelle

Hi moonpie,
Sports wise, MCS is good in their Rhythmic gymnastics, netball & tennis. The Rhythmnic gymnasts (B Division) clinched the championships for the last 2 years.
In addition, for the recent Singapore Youth Festival (SYF), MCS clinched a Gold Award (with honours) for Modern dance, and silver awards for both Choir and Chinese Dance. :rahrah:
For the P1 orientation, these CCA groups will usually put up a performance for the parents & the puplis. -
