Hello, anyone knows if the coming Arts Fest will also showcase the talented Marymount girls’ artwork? I recalled when dd was P1 then when the inaugural Arts Fest was held in ACS Barker Road hall, there were paintings for auction and we actually bought four pieces done by the girls. I’m quite happy that the school put up several interesting programs back then (including speech & drama, gym both artistic and rhythmic, choir, modern and Chinese dance groups, lower primary girls’ song and dance presentations, etc. Hopefully there will be interesting performances this year. A good way to raise funds for the school’s upgrading programme.

Not sure about artwork, but think there will be performances this year. I received a letter with a list of rehearsal dates that my dd (P1) has to attend... I guess all the girls are involved in the performances? It's good for them to be exposed to such :rahrah:

Hello mommies and daddies, this year’s Art Fest is similar to two years back - performances and art pieces auction. My dd is doing her part in RG. I will look out nice art pieces and bid for them. Comes in proper frames too. Tickets sales from Gatecrash from 26 May. Need to be fast. Support the school ok?

Gin, I received a letter that my dd will be involved in this performance called Rasa Sayang... and there are like 10 rehearsals! She is not in any CCA (gym or dance or drama), so my guess is that they are asking those not in any type of CCA to take part? All the other kids would already be caught up in performances related to their CCAs.

I thought the school would have issued another schedule, as some of the timing given in the letter is not confirm. I have drop the teacher in charge to find out more, let you know if i find out anything.
