school bus is too early, stay at serangoon, rather take cirle line 4 stops, and walk, hope LTA will approve the backdoor entrance, save a lot distance to school, anybody has any update on this?

that so called nearer passageway has been touted since last year when they moved back to the current school site until now and frankly no clearer or definitive timing when its going to happen…

Does the school provide lockers for the kids? As my kid may have to walk I hope the bags won’t be super heavy. She’s quite small sized

My friend mentioned no lockers but most of her gal’s textbooks are collected and kept in school. Not sure if this practice is consistent among all the teachers. -
They do not have individual lockers but the majority of the textbooks, art stuff are kept in their respective classrooms. They would usually keep certain of their work books, work sheets, some exercise books, their snacks in their school bag etc…that said while it is less, i still feel that the bags are still heavy…

A couple of questions:
1. Does anyone know if parents can hang around in school during 1st 3 day when DD start P1? Or is it drop the kids and leave?
2. Is there a lot of homework for P1?
