BTW, did anyone of u went to get the uniforms? It was long q lor. But the ladies at the shop were v helpful. 😄 My DD managed to fit the smallest size but wif some alterations at the sides. The jacket was cool man. 😉
We went to get the uniforms after the orientation as well. My DD got the smallest size with alterations at the sides too! Sigh, she was already teased even before the first day of school. Apparently, the girl sitting beside her in class asked how old she was. When she replied 6, that girl went, \"you r so short, you should be in K1\" Felt so bad for my girl. What a bad start.

            Hi cantbearit2

I was there with my gold fitflop. 😄
Should hv a 'KS forum booth' as meeting point.

As for the orientation, after the talk and performance, we proceed to the classroom to settle Admin matters. There were 3 teachers in the class. The Chinese teacher collected the money. The other 2 are in charge of collecting our forms. One of them was very friendly and cheerful. The other was serious and quiet. Turned out that my DD's form teacher is the serious one.....

After handing in the forms, I was wondering what next..... Waited for 5 mins...... since the teachers were so busy, I just went off to Canteen to look for the bus vendor and find out more about the Good Shepherd student care. Frankly, felt lost.... So go auto-pilot.

Not sure if I missed the teacher addressing all parents session since I left after I submitted the forms. After that I went to the hall to collect DD, take a tour at GSSC and went home.
Haha....agree!!! Will set up that meeting pt in the sch's nex event. 😉

Looks like there are more lost parents than I have expected. Haha....

Aiyo, don't b sad. My gal will surely make u feel better;she's only 14kg & pretty short too. When I brought her to get the uniforms, the auntie 1st words were:\"she's so cute, so small, nex yr P1??? Tik may need to tailor made.\" She took the smallest size pinafore for her to test, luckily only need to alter the sides, same as your DD. 😉

During her childcare grad concert, some parents I knew told me they din noe she was in K2 till the concert. All along they thot she's N2 (lagi worse than your DD rite???). But I guess for gals it's still acceptable. Petite gals have more mkt (tall or short men also can) when they are grown up and looking for partners rite?

My DD P1 has to get 1 size bigger than those for P1 at that time.

thks, have to stay positive otherwise DD might felt like she's an outcast (always get teased for her small build). Hee....

Think genes play a big part, mayb u & DW has angmo build so your DD is taller than her peers. My DH & I are consider asian height (aka short lah) although on the flabby side.

Aiyo that bad??? My DD went to the toilet wif her classmates while we were at the hall (she told us aft we picked her up at the end of the orientation). She said the toilet was ok, not sure which one she went. Knowing her, she rather pee in her pants then visit a dirty toilet, it shld b alrite.

Hope that this gross toilet u mentioned is juz a one-off incident (mayb due to the large crowds), otherwise my DD will have \"accidents\" in sch lor. 😞

Is your daughter also in P1 Responsibility? 😄
The serious and quiet teacher that you mentioned, is it that Malay teacher?
                        Thanks 😉
