Hello everyone,


My girl will be starting P1 at Marymount next year. Just wondering if all of you have gotten the uniforms for your girls? We went down to United after the orientation to get the uniforms, but only managed to get socks, t-shirts and jacket. They ran out of the pinafore and PE-shorts, we have placed order for them but till now haven't heard from them. Just called them this morning and was told it will take another 2 weeks. Is there anywhere else I can get the uniforms?

We are still waiting for the PE shorts too. Called them y'day but was told stock not arrived yet.

We can only buy MCS uniforms from United Uniforms.

They called me today... th shorts are in stock and i can pick up anytime

Hi cantbearit2,
The plastic covers for textbook & exercise books from sch bookshop do fit nicely. When you buy the P1 book covers package, there'll be a list which states which cover to use for which book. Each book cover comes with a number at the back so if you use the wrong number-coded covers, it won't fit. FYI, you need to use 103 for chinese, maths and social studies books, 109 for music textbook, 118 for civics & Moral & Health books.
The above is only applicable for book covers from Pacific bookstore. I'm not sure if the same number codes apply to the covers from Popular bookshop.

Then I muz go back to sch & buy liao. I left out all the optional items when purchasing the textbooks.

During sch holidays, does the sch bookshop opens daily?

Yes I have to go back to school bookstore to get the plastic covers too..

Just received the books from pacific delivery and noticed that the maths wkbks are all with punch holes. Parents, are your books with punch holes too?


Tinkerbelle, did you encounter the same thing before with your gals books? Can you enlighten us why is this so?

All maths workbooks are punched with holes for filing purposes should the teacher choose to do so. The upper primary gals have to tear the worksheets out after each topic, staple them and file them into the maths folder. However, for DD2 last year, the P1 teacher did not ask them tear the worksheets out. Think maybe too troublesome for P1.

Went to the school this morning to buy the plastic covers… not crowded at all. Hopefully the covers will fit nicely.


Btw, any parents bought the exam papers that are selling at the bookstore??

The plastic book covers so-so only… haven’t finished wrapping because just realized have to write names on the books lor…
