Hi all,


How’s everyone’s DD first day to school? Hope all of them are enjoying it.

By the way, I am looking at my DD’s time table. Wed and Fri have Mass PE and PEHE. So it means she will have to wear PE uniforms to school right? Not bring it to change right?

My girl told me she has to bring all the books to school. How about those files and art and craft stuff? Any idea?

Hi all!!!!! what a day..

I was super nervous when i coundn't spot my gal in the canteen.... till the very last minute!!Phew!
When it was time to line up,lo and behold!!!she couldn't be found and her form teacher frantically went looking for her!!!
My gal went back to classroom herself!!!and she was SOO proud of it!!he he he!!! I told her must line up first lah! :lol:

I must say the teacher is SUPER patient with my gal!!! :celebrate:

All in all areally eventful and happy day !!! :laugh:

We can wear PE attire and no need to change afterwards as far as I know....

as for the craft stuff i'll probably just pack the basic scissors,colour pencil and glue unless teacher specify.

As for the art stuff, maybe will send the teacher an email to ask about that.

Tomorrow my gal only need to bring what is on her timetable which is ...nothing!!!Coz her form teacher took all the books we were supposed to bring on the first day of school.
Just PE attire for my gal tomorrow then ..well and her school bag,bottle,money and pencilcase i mean....

Some of the girls in my girl's class brought all the books to sch today.. :shock:


Overall, my girl enjoyed herself... Though she gotten scolding from me when she came home. She dropped 60cents and didn't picked up coz they were rushing to queue up and go bk to class. :oops:

I'll just pack books that are on tmr's timetable and not bring everything.. Too heavy..

I muz say that today I was dead tired but v happy.


Tik so far MCS managed well. I was in fact late in fetching her (din noe it’s earlier for this week, not KS enough to come earlier cos thot gate will b closed anyway). The teacher even need to bring her to the sch office to call me (she remembered my hp no, so proud of her). By then I had actually reached the sch gate.

BTW, saw a preggie lady in white top, not sure if it’s funkymonkey cos no gold flip flops, hee…

aiyo, my DD’s timetable tml has mother tongue. Not sure if I shld bring the MT textbk too? Her bag is already v heavy fr submitting all the Eng & Math thingy.

Glad to hear that your DDs had fun on their first day at sch yesterday.

Yeap...the P1 & P2 gals wear their PE attire to sch on PE days.

Usually, other than the basic items that funkymonkey mentioned above, there'e no need to bring art block & art folio daily. Only bring art bag & oil pastels on the day your DD has art as per her time-table.

There's also no need to bring all the books... Just pack according to your DD's timetable plus any additional books that her teacher requests for as the teachers keep some books for them in her cupboard (just in case the gals forget to bring when the teacher needs them).

As for the files, no need to bring until the teacher asked for them. :lol:

USSR..... isn't that the old name for Russia...haha. That's a new acronym this year.....I've no idea what it is either :?
But it has replaced the old acronym LSVEP (Values Education Program) at the same time slot on Wed.

Usually, the teachers will have contact time (meeting) during that period and the gals will either attend values Ed. or catechism classes. Wednesday is always the best day for the gals...lots of PE fun and the least homework for the week. :rahrah:

It's advisable to bring the MT textbook and activity book when your DD has MT as some MT teachers will start teaching.

Know what you mean, DD2's bag is super heavy today as her teacher requested for additional books and files to be brought to sch today. :faint:
