I remember the flags but not sure if I saw you..... I noticed the flags because there are lines at the back and I was thinking to myself that they must be hand painted and that it's one big piece of paper and not jointed 2 pieces.... Can see that my mind is really trying to find something to do.

There are quite a lot of changes for them. From time to wake up to class environment to social circle.
Hope that your DD adjust to the Sch soon.

My friend shared with me sometime back that when her son was going to P1, it took him 3-4 weeks to adjust. He hugs/hang on to the pillar of the school foryer and cry. He refused to walk into the school. From what I know, none of his kindy friends are in the same school.

Now, he loves and is doing well in school. I look at him now and will never imagine he is the same little boy who hugs the pillar.... :lol:

Thanks for all the encouragements... my girl is still not liking the school. At 11.30am when she was waiting for the school bus with nanny, she can actually call me and try her luck for the last time to ask whether she can don't go to school...!!!!! OMG!!

Hi all,


It has been a tiring 2 days for me, running to and fro the school...

My girl is not doing very well. She hates it because it's afternoon session and she has no time to play. She cried when I visited yesterday and today (yes yes I know I shouldn't be there) during recess time. Last night and this morning, she told me she didn't want to go school...

Well, I know this is only the interim period but it is really tiring trying to encourage and console her. Her P5 buddy started tearing today when she saw my daughter crying so badly!! I feel so bad!

It muz b hard on u but dun gif up yet. IM sure as the days go by, she will make many frenz and prob get used to the long hours too.

My DD was used to aftn naps at childcare ctr too so initially I was apprehensive on how she's gg to stay awake during lesson time in the aftn. However, she has been telling me thgs fr what the teacher said so I guess she was listening after all. :lol:

All the files and white board are still at home so are we supposed to bring all these to school too??

My girl is thinking of joining art club too… think its quite tedious for the gym, 2x a week, my girl telling me she’s not robot, will feel very tired leh, hahaha… but i will encourage her to try for the fun of it.

I think it's different for different classes.

For P1 Responsibility, they were told to bring the Green file to file in all the circular notes given and school timetable. They were also told to submit the chinese workbook, 2 squares exercise books and handwriting booklet yesterday and to bring $3.10 for the helpmate, the book with the picture of \"Soil\" and booklet with the spider today. So far these are what she told me.

For my DD, all the circular notes are put in the clear folder instead. So far, no request to bring the Green file yet. Guess I will just have to wait for the teacher to request for the purple file again.

Anyone DD interested in joint the CCAs? I wanted my girl to join the dance club as I feel she has talent in that but she not interested. She wants to join art club.


If she joined CCA, does it means that I have to bring her to school myself or the school bus will come and pick her up early.

I thought gym is compulsory for all students. So is not right?

I have also sign up DD but in gymnastics cos if we take up this sport outside, v ex $600 per term ($2,400 per yr) compare to MCS $360 per yr. Hee....

But dance club was one of the choices too. Let's see if she's manages to get in.

Wah..that's really expensive. Did you ask your DD which club she interested in? or you decide for her.

Hi all mummies of P1 n P2…


I 'm planning to put my DD in MC next yr but I heard from some others that starting from P1 they have to attend extra lesson (like tuition) in the morning once or twice a week…is it true? Sch bus will not send them in early so parents have to send them themselves…if that is the case…very jia luck coz i’m a working mom…any idea?
P2 moms pls confirm if the above situation is true?
