Hi minmin, at this age, it appears to me that the girls are more vocal and more keen to take on leadership roles such as monitress, prefects etc as compare to boys. I believe teachers will rotate the roles so that more children will get the opportunity. At least in my DS's kindergarten, they got the chance to be team leaders and monitor / monitress, rotated every term.Hi Precious2Lee, my son's FT collected his English Grammar and WordBank and only gave out if there is homework or prior to MAs...
Hi Mummies, can anyone englighten me on how to encourage my son to take on leadership roles? He was selected by his FT to be class monitor, but my silly boy rejected the role... Sigh!!!
My son's teacher has collected a few books but not Grammar and WordBank. Anyway, since there is EL lesson tomorrow, I will let him bring these 2 books to school. -
Can I know what is the girlsโ attire to wear to school for PE day? PE T-shirt with shorts, or PE T-shirt with skirt wearing shorts inside?

For P1-P3, the girls are allowed to wear the PE tshirts and shorts on PE days... P4-P6 gotta wear PE tshirts and skirts... I think should be wearing the shorts inside but a bit bulky and since the skirt is white, might be a bit transparent since the shorts are blue.... -

Hi Preciouslee, my boy is in p2. He had tried the subject leader roles last year and doing flag duties since last year. Dont understand why he dont want the class monitor role coz i thought its good exposure and its based on teacher's selection....sigh!

Today is only DS 4th day of school. I tested him for fun if he wishes to be appointed as the class monitor. He told me his friends said monitor will have lesser time to play because monitor needs to help teachers all the time. Answer is obvious, not keen too..
