thanks... glad to know that i did not over-react.. i will write an email to the P and VP about this..
Hi Lag
Yes I can totally understand your worries ... but seriously, i feel the only possible solution is for the school to allocate a teacher-in-charge to ensure that the kids stay in the classrooms while waiting to board the bus... you may wish to feedback to the school?Callie Tan:
DS in p4 this yr and every tuesday he needs to stay back for AS which ends at 3.30pm.. we are both working parents therefore he has been taking the school bus since p1..
I was told by my mum that DS reach home at 5pm yesterday..After checking with DS I realise that there is only 2 school bus to cater for all the P4 that are taking AS..and my DS school bus need to make 2 trips. He belongs to the 2nd trip which means from 3.30pm to 4.15pm..he is playing happily in school while waiting for the sch bus!! There are abt 12 students that are taking the same school bus as my kid..
sigh..i dont want to sound like a protective parent and question the sch regarding this..but then i dont feel comfortable knowing that from 3.30pm to 4.15pm there is totally no one who knows the whereabout of my son ( or the 11 students that are in the same sch bus ).. what if something happen to him between this timing? who is responsible for it? Do you think it is possible to have a teacher to keep an eye on the 12 students..maybe keep them in the classroom or whatsoever..let them do some work or read some books rather than running all over the place?
I check with my ds.. this \"coming home at 5pm\" every tuesday will continue until the rest of the year..
parents.any suggestions?
When i was first told that my son's volleyball CCA is from 4.00 to 6pm, i also made the same suggestion of having a teacher or parent volunteer to supervise the children, while they are waiting for their CCA. The teacher said that she will feedback to the school. If more parents share the same concern, maybe the school can do something. I perfectly understand your concern about not knowing the whereabouts of your child. They might end up mixing with outsiders, as there are shops just opposite the school. Another concern is their safety. -

Is this Fri CNY celebration day for PM session? Are the kids supposed to come in CNY wear? i might have misplaced the PN, and the website is not updated yet
Friday is a normal school day for the kids.
I dont thk the kids are allowed to wear CNY wear since it is not stated in the PN. -

Called the school GO this morning to ask, they said can wear CNY clothes but with school shoes. Then my girl called during recess to say that FT asked them to wear school uniform tomorrow except for those who will be performing... aiyoyo...so what is what????muska:

I finally see all the electronic PN. its now at homepage, instead of need to login to parent's portal. Blur me. But nothing mentioned on clothes to wear. I remembered last yr when ds was in P1, they had mass lo hei in cny clothes. But forgot was it be4 or after CNY. -
ds in p4… every yr wear uniform to sch for cny celebration…haa i lazy to be bothered abt wearing outside clothings…

Mine worse! Child came back last week bugging me to buy cny clothes for the celebration this Fri as mentioned by teacher during assembly to put on cny clothings. I bought on Sun so that she will not be the odd one out. Then two days later when she came back, said mummy sorry, bad news… Asst level head said come in sch uniform or PE attire. Yesterday, form teacher asked if they will wear cny clothings as they would look nice on it and children replied her cannot and she said she will go talk to level head… Will know later when she comes home. What kind of communication is going on within the school teachers, i have no clues at all! I just know they got the children and parents really confused. Kudos to pcps!
