      Callie Tan:
Ya saw the Math paper, quite easy but my girl is very happy with her results and I hope this is a morale booster for her to study hard and do her best in all future tests and exams...

Think need to check with her FT about the reading thingy. So far we do not record any of the books read except for her enrichment centre's book reviews...
      Hi Callie,
Congrats :celebrate: May I know which enrichment centre does your dd go? Thanks.

I heard the average mark for maths in some classes is like 23++ and English is 21++.

Think MA1 is really either give away or kids are really v v brilliant now.

My kid also surprised me by doing well in both papers, phew!

For the 26 to 29 Apr oral paper, I’m checking with the teacher whether it is book discussion or picture discussion (coz my son told me it is more of the former). And whether we need to prepare the book beforehand. Will inform when teacher reverts. Any of you know what they mean by "Picture Discussion – book cover"?

In my opinion, it is like what the teacher did during orientation. She showed the kids the cover and encourage them to guess the contend of the book.

Yes, do let us know what is it about.

Hi, thanks! My girl is doing her Math with Concept Math at Goldhill, next to United Sq. It is started and run by an ex Ai Tong teacher...

Wow, the kids have done well!!

MA1 is very foundamental and most of the stuff tested are actually repeated topics from K2. Hence, the kids will generally be able to handle and do well, I think. That's why I told my girl to do her very best and score for MA1... subsequent MAs might not be so easy liao....
