It is credit into the bank a/c that you have given to the school for giro payment of school fee

      AgonyMum:
Uh oh...my child has no bank account yet.Credit into Edusave?? Seems so meaningless to give money to a child.Think most children prefer more \"concrete\" rewards that they can associate themselves with.Whatever happened to good old-fashion books?

Haa.. agreed trophy would be nice.

Today, my son got his report book, so I knew his P2 total score. I also know which class he will be going for next year. Btw, Care and Charity, which one is the better class? 🙂

My son's form teacher told the class that the top 77 students have been randomly assigned to Care and Charity next year. The 2 top students in our class have the exact same total score and one of them will be going to Care and the other to Charity. This is done to \"even out\" so that the intense pressure in Care is not overwhelming,so to speak.Today, all the students in my child's class must clap enthusiastically for those who are going to Care and Charity next year 🙂 Faith is the next best class,I have heard but not sure how true that is.

2 top students? so there are 2 first position in the class? do you know their total score? I told my son that it will be difficult to get first 3 position next year.

If I am not wrong, Care and Charity are the best classes and Faith will be the next best class.

The score for the top 2 students is 291(identical for both). One will be going to Care, the other Charity. The third student will be going to Charity and the fourth place student is assigned to Care. As the teacher clarified,it is random. The eighth and ninth positioned pupils will be going to Care too.So for this year,Care and Charity are "equal".The child who won the "best improved" award will be going to Faith.I am not overly concerned with which class is "BEST" but I AM quite concerned with the quality of the form teacher for my child’s class next year. The best teacher was assigned to Faith last year(from the grapevine).Form teachers do make a world of difference!

Hi, heard from my neighbours that there are 80 top students split into both Care and Charity. Yes, i agree that the form teacher is of very important… my son had a very good P1 & P2 form teacher… other than putting them in good classes but not with a good form teacher… this only create unhealthy competition with no purpose!

I thought the form teacher will be the same from P1 to P2, and from P3 to P6.
