        funshine bear,

PSG supports the school in various areas. Some examples
are school learning journeys, road safety, gate duty.
P3 swimming chaperon is one you've mentioned.
        Are you a member yet?

        all.in.one,
sound interesting however what is the time commitment, sorry it seem to me like is for school hours I'm afraid that I can't afford the time cos I'm working. Beside you, any one of us is in PSG?

        πŸ˜„ funshine bear,
You can help on a adhoc basis.
When you are attending any of your child's parent-teacher meeting or
parent workshops by the school, just get a PSG form to take a look at the list of activities for parent support.
Look out for the WDP PSG website, will be updated soon for more info.

thank you for adding me in the list, all.in.one
yes it is great to know that our children enjoy themselves in school worryfather, just to share that the teachers that has been teaching my children or taught her before, are very understanding, patient and nice.
Oh.. that's very important.. I think teachers are very important so that the students will have interest in learning and going to school.

          thanks for the info.

            Hi Sharon,
Have you read all the pages in this thread? My comments on Woodlands
Primary are all in there. I hope the rest of the parents in this network
can provide more feedback on the school. Then you will have a better
picture... :grphug: Do you have any specific concerns or what you are
looking in the ideal school for your girl? Are you staying within 1km from
Woodlands Primary? If yes, likely to be able to get in without becoming
PV if you have no time.

            Hi all.in.one,

Nice job!!.. think you have successfully make WDP popular..
Thanks to your dedication and hardwork.. πŸ™‚

                        Dear parents,

I'm an ex-student of woodlands primary and thinking of sending my girl there,

She would be in P1 in year 2012, i tink i'm kiasu.. but i just want to find out more of the school as i'm staying in Sembawang and dont know if it's a good decision to send her to woodlands.

I would appreciate your valuable feedback.

I am interested in their academic aspect, is it too stressful??
Do the P1s come back with a lot of homework everyday? Also is it 1 of the top schools in woodlands? i heard woodgrove and innova is.. i just dont want to send her to a very stressful school, and oh is it single session..

                        how are the teachers there??

                        thx a million
