Do you mean that you find other areas weak as well??? :?
In our case, my K1 does other lessons outside kinderland which she is learning alot more. So to me, the key thing is being happy, building that confidence and enjoying school going to Kinderland that matters to us. -

I think this is a case by case at the school's discretion. Eg. My niece attends a neighbourhood school in the west and they have such test to group the kids according to classes.
Meanwhile for my kids, they don't have that. -

what are your views of kinderland? are your kids with them?
actually, i am thinking of sending my kid to PAP nursery... some people are saying that is is better... i am so confused now....

Are you sending your child to the same school? If not, you might want to check out on the parent networking group in KSP with existing parents if the school does have such practise. This is a good resource.hi mum05,

Personally, I feel that in any case, we cannot depend on the school 100%. Parents also need to play a part eg. reading with the child to increase their word recognition, etc... The more we expose them, the better they get.
Some say PAP is alot more academic. But it's subjective and depends on what you want. -

In k2, they are given CL and EL spelling.
For K1, they are given weekly homework on beginning sounds. -

It is still there…
but look old from outside, wonder is the centre as good as other kinderland centre?
