I am back fr korea, very cold when I was there last week. -12C in erverland. My F&E days not long enough thus I did not go Chuncheon or petite France area. the train ride like very long too . Snowed 3 days consecutive while at Gangwondo ski areas..very nice and beautiful. think next yr i will go again, but fully F&E ( my current trip was packaged tour cum 2 days F&E only)[/quote]mypillow

during winter, everland is really cold coz its an outdoor amusement park but sledding would be fun.

actually the train ride to gapyeong/ chuncheon area is quite fast coz its high speed but since u only have 2 days of F&E, time is quite limited so will seem far for u.

which ski resort did u go? i'm planning to visit one of the ski resort next year.

btw, did the gapyeong circle bus go into Nami island direct or u still have to take ferry?
now that I got more time to study the train network, not that far like u said

i also shortlist daemyung vivaldi park isit good? actually i shortlisted high 1, vivaldi pk, alpensia & konjiam.

no the gapyeong circle bus will only bring u to the wharf, u still have to take the ferry to nami coz its an island, but there's also zipwire which can bring u across but i'm too old for that haha...

Anyone know from incheon Airport to YongPyong Ski Resort and Incheon Airport to Alpensia Ski Resort, how long is the journey for both resort? Cos I’m comparing which one shorter time. Thanks

Haha me too old for zip wire too. I prefer relax non adventurous holidays.

Vivaldi seems popular among locals, saw a lot of students coming to the ski sch so it is crowded. Gondola up is scenic. But the hotel tower I stayed quite far fr ski field. Must take shuttle bus down. Quite ok place. Mayb yongpyeong is bigger and more space.

For Nami Island, you need to take a ferry to reach there.....very fast, think take less than 3 minutes.
Here's a photo of the ferry terminal. In the background, you can see the zipwire tower.
