i got my o level reults on the 10th of jan. My L1R5 after deduction of bonus points is 7. I am hoping to get into ACJC. However, the cut-off pt for the past few years have been 6. I am thinking of appealing if i do not get in through JAE. What are my chances of getting in? Also, does it help if i am from an afliated secondary school? (MGS-a lot of my seniors are in ACJC too). Thanks for the help:)

            to 2911.

I doubt your chances of getting in are going to be high, but no harm trying.
I tried getting in ACJC with a 7, and their COP for that year and the year before was also 7.
            However, I didn’t get in.
But then again, I got into the school with the next lowest COP of 8, AJC. So I don’t regret trying.

My second choice is actually AJC too. I was just hoping to get into ACJC because its nearer to my house. Just to ask, does AJC allow students to take 4 H2s?

                seems possible from their website

Its definitely possible to take 4H2 in AJC. I did.

Although I’m not sure if 4H2 will be available for uncommon combinations.
Also, like most schools, AJC requires that you get a sufficiently low raw score before they allow you to take 4H2.
