Oh I see. So many coincidences.. My younger brother also in VS IP XD Sec 1 this year.[/quote]
We stay mid way between VJC/TJC and NJC. I prefer my son go VJC as I need to fetch the younger one who is currently studying at the victoria IP at VS. I can then send two of them in a single trip.rylee:
Oh wow same as me! XD If you stay in east then TJ is okay luh. I stay in Bedok so my first choice VJ, then TJ. Tried walking to TJ, about 10minutes for me. You stay nearer to VJ/TJ/NJ?
Oh yes. But the younger one is at sec 2 this year. To be frank, I don't know whether do we make the right choice to put him in IP? His result is so so in sec 1. The older one though in the o level program seems to be doing very well right from sec 1. -

My younger bro wants to do O levels despite being in IP. I feel it's safer because at least can fall back on O level cert + the preparation for Os helps them to prepare for As... But to each their own, I guess. -
My dd L1R5 is 6. minus 2 pts = 4. MT exempted
Some pple post qtn abt how RI choose their students. My dd asked the admission officer on the open house (after the release of results). They told her to proceed with the application and she should not have a problem getting in, though she may have to appeal. She gets 9 A1s -

forgot to add. RI has a special "category" for this sort of students, and they are opening more vacancies for this category this year. Only those with 8 A1s and above has the chance. A friend of hers got 7 A1s and the officer hinted that her chance is slim
No, my dd doesnt want to go RI -
