I am in. 😄 My dd will be doing her PSLE in 2013. I don't agree that by participating in this forum means that we are stressed or stressing our kids. I see this as parents with kids of the same level coming in and share experiences (what works and what don't). Like that, we don't have to scamper around like kanjiong spider in 2013. By then, if we have to ask around and try out various tuition or assessments to find out what works for our kids, we will really be stressed and stressing our kids.

There is no denial that PSLE is an important event in our kids' life. Personally, I feel that preparing for this journey early helps to reduce stress and anxiety. Hence, I will treat PSLE as a marathon and run alongside with my dd than a sprint where we will end up panting and gasping for air. 🙂 So, I am for it .

Just for the sake of discussion.

I will probably be stoned. I’ve read from posts that many schools rushed through the syllabus when schools re-open for P6. I wonder would it be better if lessons continue during P5 Nov/Dec but at half-day. This might benefit students who need more time to understand and absorb the syllabus.
