      Hi Parents,

My son is under Phase 2C for Fairfield Primary School for 2015 registration , but looking from the past trends, the chances of getting a place is very slim. Thus, APS is my next option, which I will come under SC to be eligible for 2C.

WIll appreciate if i can get some advice on what should I do?

Last year, as the registration site was at Zhangde Pri, there was quite a number of last day registration by those who did not stand a chance at Zhangde Pri to pop over to register. Quite a stressful day even for SCs > 2km too.

If you are not SC < 1km, chances at Fairfield is pretty low.
          What's your distance to ALPS?

I m a SC, and 1.13km from Fairfield. Don't understand how \"One Map\" measure.. It took a longer route. Definitely more then 2km to ALPS..

MOE will based on OneMap yo.
I am SC > 2km from ALPS too. Nan Hua or Pei Hwa were 2 schools within 1km for us, but taking into consideration if balloting not successful for us, ALPS won't be available under P2CS, we went straight during P2C.

i balloted out from Fairfield under 2B last year, though <2km. I straight away went to ALPS under P2C and very great i made this decision as ALPS didnt have 2CS last year, i am staying in Holland so >2km frm ALPS. i think this year kinda tough for ALPS >2km…good luck guys…

You should use the SchoolQuery function in onemap. This function does not give you the exact distance but it tells you which distance category you are in. Schools use this as a rule of thumb.
