Hi patlsy79,

I just realized last year we are actually 10.3km away from school! I must be crazy but I am just as happy as my boy to go to school everyday.

If the first pioneering batch of students (born 2007, golden pig) perform well in PSLE 2019, Alexandra can become another Rulang, of Bukit Merah.

You cannot let those young, inexperienced Tr just fresh out newly trained from NIE, to handle P5 / P6 students, in 2018 / 2019.

Not only the subject Tr. but the HOD for 4 subjects (English, Maths, Science, chinese), must be very experienced too. With many years of teaching experience, from the better primary schools.

Whether can or not, will depend on P4 to P6 Senior, experienced Teachers sent to Alexandra, to teach.

And also depend a lot on parents support of the students here.
If got good Tr + good parental support, then Alexandra, fast rising star, will go far. You need 2 hands to clap together in sync : (P + Tr), + parents too.

The Principals are good, but her team of Tr, must be strong too.
P good only, not enough.

Alexandra, you are a promising school, with potential !
The hardware, infrastructure, is there.
Hope that the software (the management, the people inside, the students) equally as good

If I remembered correctly, the P1s this year will have their teachers going up to P2 with them next year. There are a handful of teachers who have recently joined the school - getting ready for next year!

We are stay between 1km - 2km from ALPS. Would like to know how our DS chance to enrol to ALPS. BTW we are SC. thanks.

Sweet, if it's real, i will be super happy lei if my gal's teacher continue to teach them next year. the form teacher is a male, but very caring and gentle. ANd also fast in emails response. Some of the days he'll be at the drop off point at Gate 2, everytime i see him, i will greet him from far away haha ! such a nice teacher he's :P.


I did ask my gal if now i transfer her to my 1st choice of sch which I balloted out last yr, she refused to change as she said she's happy to be in APS now...now even in sch based student care, she said she met a lot new friends from another classes..Guess it's God's plan to send me to APS instead of FF..

Yes, the only male form teacher. Your gal's class is beside my DS1's class. So they are swimming together.
