      Hi West Spring

For the mid-autumn celebration this Friday, may i know whether all students will be asked to stay back till 2.30pm or they can ride the school bus back and return to school again at 2.30pm? .

        Hi Starkids,

From the letter is said :
        Dismissal Students will be
dismissed at the security post. Do ensure that your child/ward is picked up on time

-No school bus will be provided at that time. Do make the necessary transport arrangement for your child/ward

Timing on this Friday is 2:30 to 4:30pm

Yes it's great idea to let the kid take school bus home, eat lunch then send kid (own transport) back to school , relax and watch the performance! Later pick her /him back (own transport- no more sch bus)

Unless your kid is performing then it's better to stay in school for lunch and pick kid home ourselves!
Try to give the school a morning call to clarify again ! Safer 🙂

              Hi Starkids,

I don’t think there would be enough time for your child to arrive home by school bus and then to return by 230pm. I would suggest that you let your child remain in the school and to have lunch at the canteen. You could also prepare a lunch box if you feel that your child may not eat from the canteen. Then at 230pm, you could join your child and watch the performance. If you do decide on your child going home at 130pm, I would suggest you call the school to confirm that there is a school bus operating on that day.

              Thanks

                Dear Starkids,

Students may take the school bus home and return to school at 2.30 pm.

Do note, however, that parents / guardians will have to make arrangements to bring their children to school at 2.30 pm and have them picked up from school at 4.30 pm at the end of the event.

We look forward to your child’s participation in this meaningful event. 😄

                      Hi,

My child was born in 2010 and we are living within 1km from the school.
May i know are we fall in phase 2A in 2017 registration? Also if we are keen to become volunteer, when can we start to register?
                      Thanks!

                        Hi Carol0425,
It is nice to know that you are interested in West Spring primary school. It is an amazing school where parents are involved with their child activity. To find out your child fall under which phase for registration you may click on this MOE link:http://www.moe.gov.sg/education/admissions/primary-one-registration/phases/ to learn more about it. But do take note sometimes the policy may change but I think overall the policy is quite consistent. As for the parent volunteer, if your child is to start P1 in year 2017 hence your registration is 2016 so I think you must start your parent volunteer scheme in year 2015. Hope all these information help you. My child is the pioneer batch of this wonderful school. Hope to see you then.
