Dear Parents, Old Boys and Victorians,
Victoria School wins Double National X-Country Championship Titles!
Yes! We did it! The National X-Country B and C Division Challenge Shields have come home to us.
It was an exhilarating day! Our runners ran a great race. The teachers, the student leaders, the parents and the Sec 4 supporters were great. Kudos to our teachers-in-charge!
The VS flag is unfurled and flying high! Sweet Victory, Victorians!
This is "Nil Sine Labore" at its best! -

What's the purpose of having day off to celebrate when teachers give extra lessons to make up. Understand from DS3 that some subject teachers have already given notice to stay back for make up lessons. -
Major General Neo Kian Hong (former Chief of Army) and current Chief of Defence Force (head of all SAF's 3 services of Army Airforce, Navy ) or δΈεζ»ιΏ was a NCC cadet during his Victoria School days.

unlike other typical SAF (Overseas) Scholars [SAFOS] who became Colonels or Generals relatively quickly but almost non have Special operations/Special forces training or background, General Neo is Singapore's first ever Chief of Defence Force to be Ranger-qualified (earlier on he was Singapore's first ever Chief of Army / Service Chief to be Ranger-qualified). General Neo is also a Guards (Khaki beret) officer -
er what's your point? :?

hi, I'm new here
I understand that Victoria offers AEP. My son loves to draw and i think he has an inclination towards it
Understand that the COP for last year was 250.
He's quite good in Eng and Science but afraid that his Chinese may pull his score down. Just in case his agg is say 24+ and let's say he's not accepted base on the score, can we appeal base on his art ?
I understand that currently only 6 schools offer AEP - 3 are girls school, 1 is HWA CHONG. So we're left with only VICTORIA & ZHONG HUA.
I live in the east & Victoria being a boys school with soccer as CCA, I think DS will enjoy his studies
Only worried now is it may be too tough for him to make it. He's in P4 now but really hope that he can get into a school 2 years later that can have him work on his Art

mistychances:
VS last year COP was 245, not 250. But still u need to score above average to get into this school. 245 was around top 15% of last year PSLE cohort. This is a very good school and I like this school very much although my DS is not studying there, nor I am related to VS.hi, I'm new here
