I think VS still maintains its charm.

The boys are mostly well mannered, cheerful, worked as a team and less of individualistics.

The school compound has the feel of community belonging and not as cold as the top schools as mentioned.

Don't think the VS boys would want to go so much in rivaling those top schools.

They will maintain the Victorian's spirit of being all & well rounded boys!

      A Gentleman, Sportsman & Professional!

\"I do not live in Victoria. Victoria lives in me.\" :celebrate:

Oh btw, not all top schools are \"cold\". I know HCI certainly isn't. 😄

Certainly a great phrase by Shervin Lim (VS 2008)!

        Quote from VS website

        Principal's note
        8 September 2010

Dear Parents, Old Boys and Victorians,

Victoria School to offer the IP in 2012

As announced by the Ministry of Education, Victoria School will offer the Integrated Programme (IP) in 2012 at the Sec 1 level. Similarly, Cedar Girls' Secondary School will do likewise. Students on the IP will be on the thru-train to offer the A level at Victoria Junior College.

VS will continue to offer the O level programme. As the affliated school to VJC, VS students will continue to have access to VJC via the JC admission based on their O level results.

Attached is a list of FAQs for reference to questions you might have on the IP.
Click here to view/download the FAQs.

Anyone’s children entering VS via DSA for next year?

It seem that the standard has increased a lot for DSA, my younger brother who is a national champion was not even selected.

It's not in DS3's book list. :? There is no English textbook or Science textbooks also. Assume they will be given notes instead.
