Hi jsw, heard there are only about 40 students DSA to VS ip. So maybe just 1 class (another 40 will be thru' psle). So they should be classmate next year. Regards.

So our decision to go VS is firm now as we got rejection letter from DHS this afternoon. (maybe it is a good news for me as both my wife and i want him to go VS)

Nevertheless, VS is also a very good school and he should not regret joining. That's all for DSA. Next they should all concentrate to get good psle results. C u all on the 17th Sep.

Thank you keeping me inform of the status. I would say you n your wife have made a good choice as your son eventually will go to VJC where it ranking is only behind RI and HCI. Let us work together with our kid to get good psle result.

Thanks jsw, look like my DS is a bit relax now. I told him to put more effort to get at least a t-score of 25x. If lower than 250, he may end up in the \"last class\" (maybe 2 class only).

Anyone knows what is the usual time school starts at victoria? Is it going to be 730am as most school starts around this time?

According to their http://vs.moe.edu.sg/, flag raising ceremony is from 0730 to 0750 in the morning. So, VS should start around this time.BTW, how was the DSA CO presentation on 17-Sep-2011? More marketing talk from the P and pls share what message/information was conveyed by the P?

Did your ds also DSA to VS?

VS arranged a small tea reception for the students and also their parents. The principal mentioned that there were about 500 plus applied thru' DSA
and they only give co to 44. Yes, a bit marketing talk on their new IP program. Overall, my DS like the school as it is close to the beach. After the co ceremony, we bought him to the east coast beach for a walk. He told me, can't believe that he will be studying beside the beach for the next 6 years. He looks forward to school reopen in 2012. Good luck to everyone in the coming PSLE.
