Actually a lot of parents are concerned about the after lesson late lunch, thats why they intro the lunch break as well as set up a new cafe.notredame:
Frankly, I am one who advocates health over preeminence. Should I :siam:
Me too. That's why the 1st question I asked in my posts is about Lunch
I like NJC an hour lunch time and most of the days r our regular hours, not the 3pm type.
Break 1 - 10.30 to 10.55am
Break 2 - 12.25 to 1.10pm -

After much feedback on the lunchtime, finally they introduced a sane hour. Whew! Also saves me getting him a late lunch at 3pm like last time. ;D Just ends school and that's it. If he is a little hungry, then have a snack and he'd be fine already. -
Jennifer:
Do you mean A-level Subject combinations? A-level is fairly simple actually. It sounded confusing to me last time. But then again, I'm θΏζ₯δΊΊ now. I understand it all now.
Dun ask me about NJC subj - I totally hands off. Elder boy is free to choose whatever he has interests in. I dun know 100% what exactly he is taking
For A-levels, NJC has a good write-up. Should be Applicable for reading for students in most, if not all JCs.

I think CHS is not as gung ho as sngs.... They seem happy to continue in their laid back ways......

Gee.. thanks. This link comes at the right time. Just received a general enquiry from a friend regarding A lvls subj combi & such. -
I realised the list of subjects offered (page 1-28) did not indicate any Physical Science or Combined Science, only the pure Sciences.
Does it mean Catholic High does not offer combined science anymore? Same for CHIJ St.Nicks and SCGS. -
Jennifer:
IP And top schools generally do not offer combined sciences to students. Students only take the combined science papers at o levels if they are really unable to keep up with the school's academic pace.I realised the list of subjects offered (page 1-28) did not indicate any Physical Science or Combined Science, only the pure Sciences.

Just popping in. CHS not under my radar but the discussion on njc is interesting. -
Jennifer:
About the permanent site of the JC, the website stated \"The new government JC will initially operate at an interim campus at the former ITE College Central (Bishan Campus). It will eventually be located along Sin Ming Avenue, near the junction of Marymount Road.\"
Is it referring to the site at the road junction where The Salvation Army Territorial Headquarters and NEA North East Regional Office are located?
Meaning the Asian Golf Academy and the prawn fishing establishment are moving away?
Just next to Bishan Park.....nice location -

Then go NJC thread lah! LOL! We share with you there. Or else OT.

Hi Everyone,
So there are a lot of post-exam activities lately, but our EOY results haven't been released at all and we are expected to send in our subject combination choices on 16 Oct/17 Oct - which is very strange because we do not even know if we qualify in the first place.
Is this like a \"tradition\" of CHS? When will our results be released?
Thanks
